“This is a story about a foolish mage and apprentice who are tasked with summoning beasts from alternate dimensions to wage war. Unfortunately the apprentice goes digging into his master’s research and decides to try and summon himself a girlfriend, which ends up snowballing into him causing the apocalypse. Samples are all the
beats that felt more magical and synthy that I found while plundering.”

“I started Sqvire mainly to explore new visual styles with no rules: whatever I think is cool. I have admired the barber beats movement from afar for a while, and was finally moved to start plundering lo-fi beats from discovering undersaken’s “cope for lack of meaning” series. Since starting though I’ve developed a love for many more styles of music and plan to experiment a lot sonically and visually. It’s all fueled by excitement and love for the music and art I’m discovering.”
