about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, 28.1.2026

Hello, I have made a few changes to the site. Unfortunately, I am not quite finished yet, but it should continue without interruption. I hope you find the changes useful. Stay tuned. Konrad

This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.

Insanity13

“Get Your Clothes Off”

Musicians from Izhevsk are back with fresh material. Insanity13 once again brings you vivid mix of stylish grooves and dark psychedelic tones. Highly detailed instrumentals are backed up by Oxy’s (Intoxicated Piano) sensual voice. Between distorted bass drums and long gloomy dronings of deep electronic chords, beautifully layered vocals will steal you from your room and set you adrift in this sticky sea of melted sound. Give your ears a nice treat of saturated synthetic dreaminess and be sure to share it with your friends.

Gimu – Alien Ancestry

Gimu – Alien Ancestry

Gimu

“Alien Ancestry”

And within a few moments of a tormented solitude
a following occurs of the most tranquil stability
resting sweetly again in the arms of an endurance
of an adored vulnerability lined with silk

~Emily Loren Moss Ferrell

“Brazilian artist Gilmar Monte (Gimu) brings us a thick, swirling ambient work; a slowly constricting disquieted journey through vast, chilly ruins.

Densely layered drones and crackling textures suggest a desolate, windswept world, long since abandoned to the elements. As heavy, sullen clouds roll away from the iron skies, static-filled choirs sing mournful hymns of remembrance.

Fiercely burning stars and northern lights play across the dark majesty of the heavens, accompanied by pulsating synthesizers and eerie, muted alien voices. Relentless tides of hissing, foaming instruments beat fitfully against decaying cliffs, then reluctantly fade away; dissonant echoes of what once was, and may yet be again.”

MANJA

“Shine pon mi”

CODE RED… CODE RED… MANJA is shining sweet like a morning sunrise. A wonderful tune, originally released by Rebel Liberation Records as part of the Nairoberry riddim album, the Dubbhim remix extends the tonal palette with lap steel guitar (Marcus Hillman) and sax (Ital Hans). Tony Dubshot added the dub for good measure.

Soul is the main ingredient of all vocal tracks released by Dubbhism, and Shine pon mi is no different. Even the lyrics are too big to fail. We love MANJA and we’re quite sure that you will love her too.

Tomika

“Good People and God Night EP”

Tomika is the music Tom Streller from Leipzig. He combines, electronics, indie pop vocals, chamber pop structure, and a flare of the imagination. His debut EP under Tomika is an extremely mature release. You can tell that Tom has complete control over his production techniques and instruments. Pathos Interlude is a short song based around string instruments. Fall In Springtime shares some similarities with Tunng. The Triumph Of Our Tired Eyes starts with a field recording of a thunderstorm before building into a somber folktronic piece driven by piano. The EP ends with Roots & Wings, a downtempo, heartfelt ballad for a rainy night.

Ancient Lasers – You In The Future

Ancient Lasers – You In The Future
[NS068]

Ancient Lasers

“You In The Future”

Ancient Lasers is comprised of Daniel Anderson (Idiot Pilot/Glowbug/Hyro Da Hero) and Daniel Finfer (Post Human Era and also in Glowbug). Ancient Lasers is music for fans of Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters, Aphex Twin, M83, The Faint, and Bright Eyes. Vocally, it shifts between a muscular Ben Gibbard and grunts worth of Trent Reznor’s macho swagger. From these juxtaposed elements, Ancient Lasers frontman, Daniel Finfer, finds a cohesive lyrical blend of futurist/transhuman/post human paranoia and optimism.

Ancient Lasers is comprised of Daniel Anderson (Idiot Pilot/Glowbug/Hyro Da Hero) and Daniel Finfer (Post Human Era and also in Glowbug). Sonically the music sits comfortably somewhere between Nine Inch Nails and the Postal Service. If you’re at all familiar with Daniel’s project ‘Post Human Era’ then you’ll recognize updated versions of “Ancestors” “When Are We?” and “Decendants” from the 2007 release on Testtube http://www.monocromatica.com/netlabel/releases/tube080.htm. If you’d like to own a flac or wav version of this album, it is available to purchase as pay-what-you-want from the Ancient Lasers Bandcamp page. Intoxicated Piano

“Vice versa”

Please welcome Intoxicated Piano – a one person project, created by Oxy (Oksana Rumyantseva). You have already heard her captivating voice on Insanity13’s release Tragedy Triumph back in our catalogue. Intoxicated Piano was started in 2012 in Izhevsk, Russia and since then turned into performing act with many people joining Oxy on live concerts. Oksana is a talented multi-instrumentalist and a vocalist often collaborating with fellow musicians on their project. This EP could be described as a pensive indie pop with elements of trip-hop, strong atmosphere and sharp-cut style. You are all invited to take a bite and tell us what you think about it.

midnightradio11

“recirculation”

“The music of midnightradio 11 is subject to no form and no rule established by me. It happens in the moment that it happens. It is not being formed in my head in advance. It is formed during creation. midnightradio11 and eisenlager are the two projects I have been pursuing since the year 2000. The sounds that evolve during creation reflect my humor, my fear, my life, my experiences and current events. I do not fit in any category but if I had to I would describe myself as an electric krautrocker. It makes me happy when people go on a journey with my music, when they tell me what they felt, what they remembered. When that happens I have reached my goal.”

Aramaki

“WSOL”

Latvian producer Aramaki brought us his latest album WSOL. The title reffers to “Why so long?” because his attempts to finish and release this album took him about 2 years. And it was worth it! It’s definately our honor and privelege to share this 1 hour long material of outstanding intelligent electronic and trip-hop music with acoustic instrumental parts as well as subtle fx and pretty massive basslines. Listen, enjoy and please spread the word if you like it.

Tardiss

“Thisistar”

It’s great to welcome back Tardiss to No-Source with their brand new album, “Thisistar.” This album picks up where “Blue” left off, further refining their sound into something that full bridges lo-fi indietronic and hi-fi IDM. The album kicks off with the over nine minute sprawling epic “Willbury Road.” Downtempo beats are the center stage for this album. Long rhythmic grooves intersect with short interludes before fading out in the last few minutes of the album with the majestic ambient piece “Goodnight Sunrise.”

Joev

“arc”

It gets even stranger when you realize that Joevs new EP Arc is not meant to be a sophisticated statement or a concept album. Instead, he simply wrote a letter. You know, like your parents did, to speak to someone dear and even more to themselves. The outcome is something heavy and haunting, carried by his Notwistesque voice and eventually broken by all sorts of distorted field recordings.

Proiekt Massage

“Proiekt Massage EP”

Proiekt Massage was a short lived project from 2002 – 2003. The Slovenian band consisted of Yoshi (kruh), Samo (Automassage), and Rok (Neuf Meuf, Automassage, kruh). In that year they produced only one EP. No-Source is pleased to be able to share this archived work with you. The music is experimental and lo-fi in composition and sound. Electronica, ambient, post rock, noise influence throughout. Melody and noise compete throughout. There is definitely some similarities between Proiekt Massage and other projects by band member Rok. Share and enjoy.

Background Radiation

“Uniform Static”

Background Radiation, is the electronic pop duo Ludo Maas & Tim Dwyer. Their sound sits somewhere nicely between Tunng and Apparat. They have been slowly amassing music for this full length album since 2008. “Uniform Static” is a collection new work that is their most engaging, polished yet. It is an extremely percussive album, sharing similarities with their “False Start ep”. Electronic drums pulse and click along all twelve tracks. A lot the the instruments found on their “Moot Point ep” also make an appearance on this album. Many of the songs lyrics delve into ramblings of space, dreams, and memories.

Neuf Meuf

“On Titled EP”

Neuf Meuf is the solo project of Slovenian musician, Rok Vrbancic. “On Titled” is his third release in his six plus years making making music under his Neuf Meuf alias. This is experimental, lo-fi electrnic music at its best. There are many melodic influences, ambient shoegaze sections, and post rock influence. he title track and “Hise Spijo” were both found on Neuf Meuf’s last album, “What’s Left In Chorus.” “On Titled EP” in many ways acts as a aural continuation. While “Ontitled” and “Hise Spijo” channel noise pop, the rest of the tracks are more infused with ambient and shoegaze. uitars echo, voices whisper, noises build.

Rho

“Brace For Gravity”

Rho return to No-Source Netlabel with their first batch of new material since 2010’s album, ‘Cedarleaf.’ ‘Brace For Gravity’ is a brilliant, concise, and calculated release. It showcases the two distinct sides of Rho. One side is their quiet, ambient, acoustic side. Guitars tremble slowly through seas of effects in many of the shorter songs on this album. The other half of Rho is the sprawling, progressive, beat oriented instrumentals. In these pieces, rhythms, synths, and guitar work to take on an almost kraut rock nature. The title ‘Brace For Gravity’ suggests an epic release and these longer tracks definitely deliver. Brace yourself for Rho.
