nside the scene of the underground punk was born the idea of forming a group serious and concrete, with fresh ideas and pungent.
The musicians were from Partido de la Matanza, one of the 24 areas that make up the Greater Buenos Aires, and more precisely of Isidro Casanova. The group moves between the musical direction of punk, ska, reggae and other styles, without a fixed direction. The message is directed towards the enemies of all time: corruption, political, police, press and power, always adhering to social struggle.

Dead Brother SP was inspired by novels of the American writer Ayn Rand. Dead Brother represents the potential every human desires to unlock. Unable to do this one becomes trapped in despair and neverending regret. Thus the “Brother” dies leaving a hollow space inside one’s body and condemning one to live a lie.
Released as part of the first global Netlabel Day, this e.p. by Jan Strach continues the tradition started with the previous e.p., “Jan Strach Piszczy W Narożniku”. It collects songs and instrumentals created while Jan Strach was working on his full length albums, their only problem being that they did not fit in with the longplays’ general atmosphere.
Otherwise, Jan Strach is proud and happy to present to the world this collection of beautiful things, as usual with JS full of stylistic surprises: a wobbly weave of ping-pongy piano combined with a barely breathing flute and a dirty one-string guitar; a marimba-stylophone luau reverberating as if from a cave with stomping and finger snaps. A shoe-noisy dreamy rock tune about travelling birds, and a punk thing with girly choruses in a time signature of i-lost-count/4 and a toy and a flute; that’s not all.
As usual with Underpolen Netlabel offerings it is lo-fi, diy, full of odd passionate homemade energy.
Cairo Braga’s new single ‘Thanatos’ is the first chapter of his first album cycle (prefaced by his previous single ‘Nature Boy’).
the song is a personal reflection upon the death drive and how to live with it, or not live at all. it’s backed with a cover of Girls’s ‘Lust For Life’ as an attempt to bring a less fateful perspective to an ill-fated narrative. but does it really succeed in that intention?
this release is part of Netlabel Day 2015, the worldwide independent free music event on July 14th. know more at http://netlabelday.blogspot.com

Linear Obsessional presents the new album from English underground pop mainstays The Original Beekeepers, who have been releasing low-level works of sardonic pop genius for the best part of 30 years.
“How The River Runs Dry” is a collection of interconnected songs that piece together a story set in British suburbia. Featuring dryly humorous lyrics and the kind of intricate arrangements (including a brass section and guest vocalists) for which the band has become known, this album, several years in the making, has been described by the band as “probably our best / most consistent work since 2002”.
The Original Beekeepers are Linear Obsessional’s resident pop group, and this album, running from the exquisite pop of “Cats On Window Sills” to the Sun Ra skank of “Breaking Down” demands your attention.
23 Seconds Netlabel proudly presents our sixth release by the Malmö indie pop group, Emerald Park.
In 2015, Emerald Park have taken on a somewhat more divergent musical persona. With much experimentation, their sound has grown beautifully, travelling from acoustic and ukelele-driven tunes to more indie pop and electronic atmospheres, the band having shifted towards the use of electric guitars, Moogs and various synths. The Swedish outfit find strength and resource in this continuous progress, making the new 7-track album “Go!Go!Go!” a very compelling record and listening experience.

Happy Puppy is pleased to add the music of Taker 51 from Spain to our little home on the net. It’s the personal project of Raul DÃaz, where he blends an organic mix of electric and acoustic sounds, ranging from ambient to industrial.
I supposed it would be labeled as ‘post-rock’ (a term I’ve never really understood), but there’s also some nice progressive rock elements, as heard on the opening track “Supercell”. It’s got lots of cool synths, guitars and drums. It’s nicely arranged, produced and played and we hope you enjoy it as much as we.
Guerra de Cerdos its a Band from Buenos Aires formed in june of 2013, with the idea of generate a communion of artistic expression through the music. His lyrics deal with historical and social topics ,existencialism and other philosofical issues. His sound is born on in such diverses genres like post punk , hardcore and thrash metal, creating a very own style with autentic and original force. «As an independent band TIGERBERRY decided to handle all the aspects of the video production. They invited Ketto Science to make something completely extraordinary. As Fedor Ferapontov said: “We needed Ketto Science cause he had an amazing experience in dance music production. Dope underground things”. The plot of the video is highly connected with the lyrics of the song. Vladimir Berlizev: “Let’s say that one does something wrong, but there is no one to evidence that. So he/she decides to move on without making it right. That is a way people spoil things I believe. To live a life you’ve got to go back and break it. That is the meaning.” Highly influenced by web punk, “Break the Lies” appears to be a mixture of 3D models, distorted colors and psychedelic effects. Band members were filmed with the help of Xbox Kinect camera to make band members fit the digital universe. “In the video we show things that are not real, things that have changed our life so dramatically that there seems to be no way out. The Internet has destroyed the world we used to live in. Everything is digital.» — Vladimir Berlizev.
Malignant Cove is adcBicycle’s 3rd album. All tracks are about a rocky ocean cove in Nova Scotia, Canada. The album was constructed to be catchy, dark, background music. The music engages the listener with gritty analog sounds, loosely played instruments and driving beats, yet at the same time sits peacefully in the background with distant vocals, slow building drama and a consistent dark pop mood.
Controversial producer of the 21st century. A visionary, known for his sod-cutting construction building in electronic music, aleatory composition and sound space.
Follower of the Darmstadt School, his early student compositions remained out of the public eye until the conjunction music experience resolved in the debut album “unsound noisy glitch”.
Mers describes music written in an uncompromising transethnic style with a mixture of recognizable genres.
“Reliefless” is a 4th album by Deftechnixks, an experimental rock unit which employs different rules, strategies and approaches to their every album.
This time, Deftechnixks decided to explore repetition in rock music, by releasing 12 songs, each based around repeating the same motif over and over again. The result, however, is far from boring! Each consecutive song is constructed from increasing number of notes for each instrument, thus for track 1 there is a 1 note motif for drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals, for track 2 each consists of 2 different notes and so on, up to 12.
However cerebral this may sound, the resulting songs are actually very much rock music, bouncing between punkish simplicity, postrock clouds, metallic screaming, industrial mechanics, shoegaze dreaminess and plain all catchy sing-alongs.
Instead of being monotonuous, the melodical, rhythmical and production choices make it a fun listen, since Deftechnixks eagerly employs minor changes here and there, ranging from minimalistic, like occasional additional snare and cymbal hits, through very gradual, like expanding palette on “caffeine” or a “hidden” vocal track emerging in “Turn your pink eye to the sky”, purposefully leaving the accidentally doubled instrumental track on “hey bird trash double” or even straight-up demolishing one motif by overlaying it with another, creating a loopy cacophony in “Snow Shelby Over Vasenby”.
So, this is an experimental rock album one can actually rock out to, and at the same time a groovy rock album that is fun to take apart and look into its interlocking parts, all put in a specific order.
Enjoy and worry not, since the most important rule is always “if any rule stands in the way to creating an enjoyable song, disregard the rule immediately!”
Jan Strach creates a lot of music in bands and solo under many pseudonyms, all of which is available here:
