about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, 28.1.2026

Hello, I have made a few changes to the site. Unfortunately, I am not quite finished yet, but it should continue without interruption. I hope you find the changes useful. Stay tuned. Konrad

This license is the most restrictive of our six main licenses, only allowing others to download your works and share them with others as long as they credit you, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.

Nunun – Seven Mirrors

Nunun – Seven Mirrors
[AT024]

Nunun

“Seven Mirrors”

“Seven mirrors” is the first ambient album by Nunun. With Massimo Discepoli playing synths and keyboards instead of drums, and Cesare Discepoli more electronically treated than usual guitar, in these seven improvisations the duo explores many different sonic textures and moods. Haunting melodies and weird dissonances, celestial soundscapes and earthy distortions, countless melodic fragments and free improvisations, this is music for both the intellect and the soul.
The album cover is an original work of italian painter Nascar; the album will be soon available in a special printed edition

Nulix

“Soundgazing”

Release shaped deeply personal musical exploration; the end result is recorded on this album. Using the new workflow and record sound base is tailored from carefully recorded outside shots elements, combined with a sound analogy, the sound that comes out of the primordial darkness, devoid of earthly laws, sound ribbed electronic shamanism with massive sound spaces filled with pulsating rhythmic waves. Album smooth and warm furnishings are still somewhat more ambiguous, leaving listeners a room to find theirs version of the journey through sinister and mysterious world of recorded sounds.

last king of poland

“follow lonely roads”

the newest from pan y rosas is follow lonely roads by last king of poland, who describes it as a piece about alienation. using a vocal processor and a loop pedal, lkop transforms his voice and the feedback generated within the recording space into machine drone loops that give way to echo chamber chorus and lonely droid bird cries. throughout the piece satellites return from deep space in search of communion; pulsing swirls throb and fade; and low tone monastery ambiance counts the ebb and flow of breaths.

Massimo Ruberti

“Autour de la Lune”

Massimo Ruberti is back to present again his work «Autour de la Lune» in the occasion of a short film (about twenty minutes, released once again by the netlabel Elpamusic), to tell the story of three astronauts and their journey to the Moon.

The small film consists of three video clips composed of static animation and shadow theater. The exciting sequences of images is perfectly accompanied by the music. The electronic sounds are taken from the record «Autour de la Lune» (Elpa57). The drawings are of the American artist David Brunell Brutman while the theater has been designed and animated by Massimo Ruberti. Everything is inspired by the homonymous book of Jules Verne ‘»Around the Moon», where three astronauts try to reach the moon, shot from a huge cannon aboard a bullet-shaped starship.

“When he wins a battle, the warrior celebrates. This victory has cost him anxious moments, nights racked with doubt, endless days of waiting. Since ancient times, celebrating a triumph has been part of the ritual of life itself: celebration is a rite of passage. His companions see the warrior of light’s joy and think: ‘Why is he doing that? He might be disappointed in his next battle. He might draw down on himself the wrath of his enemy.’ But the warrior knows why he is celebrating. He is savouring the best gift that victory can bring: confidence. He celebrates yesterday’s victory in order to gain more strength for tomorrow’s battle.” by Paulo Coelho

Naked Polly – A day in a night

Naked Polly – A day in a night
[NS046]

Naked Polly

“A day in a night”

No-Source is excited to welcome Naked Polly to the roster. Naked Polly is the solo project of Oscar Granero from Madrid. His music focuses around acoustic guitar, piano, and voice, manifesting into some great mellow psych-folk. “A day in a night” is Naked Polly’s first full-length album. The songs are a-wash with reverb, sprouting flourishes of synths and wind instruments throughout. Percussion work is minimal or non-existent. This great use of minimalism really creates many great moments of an indie chamber pop sound. Oscar sights David Bowie, John Lennon, and Syd Barret as some as his influence. They definitely show through from time to time. It’s still a unique and refreshing album even with these popular influences. Enjoy a day in a night.

Rasul Mono

“Silhouettes”

Created during 2,5 year “Silhouettes” express totally personal feelings, thinkings and interests of author. This album is no more and no less than soundscape for the day-to-day life, work, rest, reflections and feelings. At times it’s light and calm, other times it’s melancholic and affecting, but inherently it’s true and it’s taken from real life.

Thierry Massard

“A EN TIO”

Monsieur Massard presents us with a project called “A EN TIO”, borrowing from the name of an enigmatic place he passes by from time to time.
This intriguing grocery, closed for ages, has been decaying and the outdoor sign is losing its letters. Originally, the sign read “ALIMENTATION”; then, after a few years, the “M” became a “W”, turning upside down, the “I” fell, and so on… Today, all that is left is “A EN TIO”.
The sounds in this work portray the decay process, the rough forces of nature and the passage of time (something we’re all familiarized with, although we tend to ignore).

Akauzazte – Akauzazte Danok
[LGN007]

Akauzazte

“Akauzazte Danok”

Akauzazte continue to advance in the proposal raised in their previous albums, music that combines primitive and avant-garde, industrial sounds, elements of folklore euskaldun own as well as Asian and African traditional music, distortion, thunderous, disturbing acoustic passages, obsessive loops electronic manipulation techniques. Throughout the 59-minute “Akauzazte Danok” different layers of electric and acoustic guitars, multiple loops and various melodic structures evolve slowly but intensely, and weave a dense spider web that traps us We quietly and slow asphyxiation. The group creates textures that are abrasive, rough, scratchy and hard. Sound blocks and cause repeated insistently hypnotic effect while percussion, tribal in nature, underpins the framework with strong rhythms and wild force. A show of dazzling beauty and at the same time of great brutality tight and difficult compositions but also liberating and cathartic.

[NN_Perform005_02_12]

Anton Mobin

“Collision at Epsilonia”

Sound artist and radio producer, the sound recording and the sound effects are the essential elements of his work of composition. Born in 1979, Anthony Baron lives in Paris and works where the improvisation and the sound creation is going full swing in the world. It is under the name of Anton Mobin that he produces his radio creations and that he occurs on stage. Anton Mobin’s sound activities evolve in two universes: the improvised music and the radio art. He defines himself his initiative in the continuity of the concrete music: his approach is directed on the listening of the sounds of the everyday life and their use in the radio composition, to develop an “extensive” concrete music.

Collision at Epsilonia (January 12, 2012)

Live performance for the Radio Programme Epsilonia dedicated to experimental music. It is broadcasted each thursday on Radio Libertaire, Paris / France (89.4 FM) from 22PM to midnight (GMT+1)

EL PILAR AZUL

“DICIEMBRE”

After the end of Proyecto:Estragos, Zeus decides to focus on his personal project, El Pilar Azul. Composed, recorded and produced this first collection of songs with the title of “Diciembre”, a hard intense, sincere and very deep. Here, the guitars, so present in his previous records, they give rise to the keyboards and add new colors to the musical palette of Zeus. For La Gramola Netlabel is no coincidence that this is our first reference, by the appreciation and admiration we have for this genius.
