about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, 28.1.2026

Hello, I have made a few changes to the site. Unfortunately, I am not quite finished yet, but it should continue without interruption. I hope you find the changes useful. Stay tuned. Konrad

This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms.

mGee

“Remixes, Volume 1”

So, you may or may not know that not only do I (Mike Gregoire, founding owner) run this label, but I also dip my toe in music-making as mGee, whenever I have free time. So, it’s no surprise that I rarely release music, since I rarely have extra time. That’s too bad, because I love making it. Four years after my last release, I finally decided to make time for it. I recently heard an old remix and thought that it could use a few tweaks and a remaster. That lead to deciding to revisit a few remixes and releasing them together as Remixes, Volume 1 to help celebrate Netlabel Day. So here we are. I hope you discover or rediscover these songs and perhaps revisit each artist’s releases, too! Included are remixed songs by BADLUCK, Cheese N Pot-C, Garmisch, The Honorable Sleaze & Liam Stewart. All incredible artists that deserve to be heard beyond the remixes. As the name suggests, expect another volume sometime in the future.

Thank you so much to all artists that have allowed folks to remix their tunes! R.I.P Sleaze.

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. Remember… everything we release is cool to share! Always keep the music moving… share it… blog it… podcast it! If you’re in radio… support independent music and broadcast it!

Donnie Ozone

“Skate God”

Aside from his appearance on Cheese N Pot-C’sDown To The Wire EP at the end of 2019, it’s been exactly a year since we last released a Donnie Ozone joint. That’s because we can always count on him holding it down for Netlabel Day. In fact, his last release was for that exact reason. Well here we are and Donnie once again delivers for this special day celebrating netlabel culture. With Skate God, he gives us a tasty hip-hop joint laced with drum n bass beats and lyrics painting a vivid picture of a skate god doing that thing! Hey kids… enjoy this.

Yo Donnie… you continue to deliver the super dope jams… thank you, sir!

Barely four months after the release of I Wouldn’t Want To Disappoint You By Not Disappointing You, Vietnam II return with the incredible Suspect Citizen! Thirteen highly moody and addictive post-surf/indie-rock songs packed with razor-sharp social commentary about all that’s been happening around us here in the United States since the last album was released. Jamarr and Eddie, thank you both for another terrific album! I don’t know how you guys can be so prolific while also turning out such addictive and thought provoking music.

condeZero – from scratch
[pn159]

condeZero

“from scratch”

“from scratch” balances a fascinating technical approach with a playfulness and accessibility. Tracks like “v1-pt ” and “International Girls ” make great use of vocal snippets, bringing a human touch to the code-driven music. Elsewhere there are infectious rhythms ranging from the abstract to straighter techno grooves. There is a lot going on in these tracks and the album benefits from repeat listens, allowing the intricate sound design and structures to emerge.

TNKS

“Coming Out”

TNKS (thanks) is an electronic music project born in 2011 created by Erik Cinà and Francesco Palermo, with two releases under its belt: “Gate one” (2014) and “Nostalgic Happiness (2017), both published by SUCU MUSIC.
The sound of TNKS, contaminated by various musical currents, has evolved through the years, blending different electronic music forms: ambient-glitch-idm-synthpop, all with the main purpose of musical research and experimentation during production. An intimate sound, in the end, achieved through passion and love for music and life in general.
“Coming out” is TNKS’s latest work which will be released in July 2020.

Francisco Pinto – Distancia Social

Francisco Pinto – Distancia Social
[pn158]

Francisco Pinto

“Distancia Social”

Times are complicated for music, and even more so for club music. The sound that was created to congregate suddenly no longer congregates, because it is not possible. Although it was nature that locked us in our houses to remind us of our position on the planet, it is also natural to respond to the sound stimulus with the inclination to moveand meet us. It is neurobiology, motor system.

Today, I would lose faith if in this suspended relationship with the community and the state of pause, where we see the days go by from a window, it does not generate the impact to create, incubate new ideas and evolve in our way of living, thinking, generating changes. This is a particular moment: it is an opportunity.

In this context, the new release of the Chilean producer Francisco Pinto, “Distancia Social” (“Social Distance”), is timely and according to the moment in which we live, where it is necessary to explore creative possibilities in the midst of a global pandemic, a brand before and after the “normal”, and in the way how we relate.

This album is part of the House style, this “meta” genre that encompasses sounds from different periods that are reflected in a different format: five original songs and six remixes. Recorded entirely with hardware, (NordLead 2x, Waldorf MicroQ, Orbit 9090 V2, Roland System1m modules, a Jomox XBase 09 drum machine, and a Toraiz sampler sequencer), “Crystal” is the track chosen to open this tour where the beat is stable, and the melodies circulate naturally. Break moment is “Oráculo”, with a more introspective tone.

“Crystal” is also the track remixed by F600, Fernanda Arrau, Marciano, Vigliensoni and Android, which give a new dimension to this LP, nourishing it with new visions. Special mention for the interpretation with broken beats, by Gemelo Malvado.

“Distancia Social” perhaps comes to remind us of that space that we gave for granted, and that has the value to provide us with a sense of security, connection and synchrony with our community. We will delay, but we will recover it because it belongs to us.

Danke Sun – Bandeja de plata

Danke Sun – Bandeja de plata
[BSMX0191]

Danke Sun

“Bandeja de plata”

Today we’re happy to present to you the debut single from Danke Sun, a spanish alternative-rock band formed by Jordi Bohigues and Javier Peiró, both members of Daily Khaos delivery (DKd). The name of Danke Sun came about as an attempt to shorten their band name into something more simple and catchy. The project kicked off at the end of 2016 and lyrically brought the band back to their origins, writing songs in their mother tongue.

As Danke Sun, they continue making music in the same ways they did with Daily Khaos delivery and their side-project Deadlines, but with a bigger influence coming from eighties pop-rock bands that were big in Spain.

It was back in 2016 that we last heard from Jordie and Javier, with the release of their album Lose Your Ways and singles. We’re thrilled to have them back with this, the first of three singles.

Bandeja de plata contains the addictive title track, a great exclusive non-album B-Side called Corporative and a couple great remixes… one by OWTRIPLEBANG and the other by yours truly, mGee (which is the first thing I’ve done musically since 2016).

So, enjoy this taste of what’s to come. In two weeks, on July 3rd, we drop the album Aquí hay una araña.

Jordi and Javier, thank you both for coming to blocSonic with your new project! It’s always great to help turn fans on to your music!

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. Anastasia Vronski

“The Ceremony”

Anastasia Vronski is a versatile experimental musician from Perm, Russia. Since years she has been creating an impressive and quite diverse body of work. Many of her tracks can be classified as “drone “or “noise”, but they always have a specific, often intriguing qualities. Above all, she’s not an artist who will do the same twice. Her new album The Ceremony has a definitely ritual vibe as the title suggests but with an original mixture of mysterious roaring, droney and pulsating noises, and more identifiable sounds like percussion & voices

“Chipsters EP Remastered”

Chipdancers, you already know this one ♪♫ It’s a re-recorded and remastered version, with proper noise reduction, and 2 bonus tracks added ( not included in the first release).
All tracks composed on Atari STe with maxYMiser (thanks gwEm) ! Recorded from a Falcon 030 for cleaner sound.

*Bleepstreet label is closed* as you might have seen, I haven’t been getting anything, news nor feedback for years. And I really wanna have this EP here with my other Atari stuff, because it includes some technics that I really enjoyed making. It means hours of work and fun, and until now it was like this project was trapped on an abandoned vessel, sailing to nowhere.

It’s pay what you want, so you can just grab it for free if you already bought it !

A Symbiotic Experience is a project created for HAMFUGGI Records,
but we really love Non Exclusive Concept so we chose to do a double release. More informations here https://hamfugi.wixsite.com/hamfuggirecords/a-symbiotic-experience

It’s a perfect horsnorme music example, so it’s not relevant to link it to any musical styles.

Samething about the influences you may find it linked to nothing else than the music of the two protagonists which is allready a lot because they are quite eclectic.

Another thing, the visual side is an important part of this project.

ESDLCP – Historial de Caidas

ESDLCP – Historial de Caidas
[pn058]

ESDLCP

“Historial de Caidas”

(10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY OF THE RELEASE)

“Could an electronic musician become a pop artist? ‘Historial de Caídas‘, ESDLCP official debut is a statement in that sense: album and composer prove a style naturally leaning towards in-vogue pop music, using collage to create songs filled with non-existing choruses.

Throughout ten tracks, ESDLCP grabs assorted electronic resources to set up and disjoint material. There’s room for programmming, sampling, jamming, and deconstructing here. Everything merges into popular-music-crossing soundscapes, taking listeners into a tour of varieties, styles, and realms: toying with calm moods in ‘Puertas Adentro’, glancing to our folk music in ‘Un paso al costado’, and even flirting with rock music in ‘Cortina de Humo’, ending up with a high quota of pop in ‘A la velocidad del amor’ and ‘Voluntad de oro’.

This diversity sets up an endearing mapping, a fragmented, nice whole, mixing in subtlety all-pervading electronica and organic fantasies. Measured-Pop doses, songs and schemes in harmony, electronic music communicating, trespassing. A healthy way for this José Manuel Cerda solo project, where transforming song as a standard into an in-flux art is taken to exhaustion.”
