about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, February 1st, 2026

Dear friends and followers of clongclongmoo. It's great to have you here. As you may have noticed, the site has changed a bit. Some people wanted to be able to access the music with fewer clicks. That should work again now. Here's a quick note to everyone who uses relatively new platforms such as Mirlo, Faircamp, or Coop: feel free to use the submit form to draw attention to your new music. I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who runs a netlabel with free Creative Commons music. Thank you! Konrad from clongclongmoo

Varias Artistas

Yoshiwaku

“Music To Burst In Tears”

The Necrophile Hummingbird netlabel presents Music To Burst In Tears by Yoshiwaku.

“PsychoActive Music For Experimental People”

I was digging in my hard drive then I found this track of incredibly sad music. If there was a contest like in Guy Maddin’s “The saddest music in the world” perhaps I should submit this track. To be clear, when you listen it there is something inside which grab your soul, and it’s nearly impossible to listen the whole without to burst in tears. Maybe if you have too much high expectations it will not work as well as with me, feeling like digging my own grave and it will sound more for you like a busker asking for a silver penny ? But you can believe me that if there is real ASMR music, that’s this really special kind of psycho-active music.

Thus, the artwork is mainly this equation (money+oil=world’s end) I don’t know from where come this sadness, but this could be the origin. Or more generally that despite we know the reason most of the time we are unable to avoid any cataclysm, instead it’s like we try to dive further into. This time in france it seems a lot of people realized this, because nearly all are struggling to get rid of a dictator apprentice, and would change this archaic system into something more accurate to the present time needs. I hope we will able to do this revolution and stick all together till find new ways to live and then to save the world of the climate disaster.

Last but not least, this is the first part of the trilogy “Under the ground, inside the flesh & over the sky” including, in second Häxan Cult and in third Remembering The Comet. And this episode more than the others is very close of CorteX project so if you want find something really nearby try “Undone Ceremony”.

Dedicated to those who know how to mend the broken hopes with gold.

MigloJE – Elements 2

MigloJE

Elements 2

It’s been a very long time since we released Elements by MigloJE on Kahvi, and we’re extremely proud that he has now given us Elements 2.A glitchy, synthetic landscape, where the beats are distorted and the melodies are fractured.

Throughout the album, glitchy textures and unexpected audio artifacts will punctuate the music, creating a sense of disorientation and otherworldliness. The soundscapes are complex and intricate, with layers of glitchy percussion, warped synths, and distorted vocals, drawing on the legacy of electronic music pioneers while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with modern technology. An immersive experience that will transport you to a world of glitchy beauty and electronic wonder with some retro vibes added for good measure.

The Venusian – Cassiopea

The Venusian – Cassiopea
[Insectorama159]

The Venusian

“Cassiopea”

In a quaint village nestled ‘neath the night’s embrace,
Where stars adorn the sky with celestial grace,
Cassiopeia’s queen, luminescent and bright,
Guides the way with her radiant light.

In the stillness of eve, a symphony unfolds,
Field recordings of nature, stories untold.
Whispers of wind through the towering trees,
Chorus of crickets, nature’s melodies.

The village sleeps, tranquil and serene,
As moonlight dances on meadows so green.
The night sky, a canvas painted with care,
Nature’s masterpiece, a vision so rare.

Embrace the serenity, let your spirit unfurl,
In this village where nature’s wonders swirl.
Beneath Cassiopeia’s gentle gaze, we find,
A haven of peace, a solace of mind.

Yoshiwaku

“Häxan Cult”

The Necrophile Hummingbird netlabel presents Häxan Cult by Yoshiwaku.
“Witch house for Queer people”
Live improvisation recorded in April 2023. As you may notice, it’s a kind of alternative soundtrack for cult film Häxan by Benjamin Christensen…
You can watch on internet archive this version slightly enhanced with super 8 film here with William S. Burroughs voice https://archive.org/details/Haxan-akka-Witchcraft-Through-The-Ages-Benjamin-Christensen

Dedicated to all the witches & other outsiders killed through the ages by the undergods & conformists.

Last but not least, this is the second part of the trilogy “Under the ground, inside the flesh & over the sky” including, in third Remembering the comet and in first Music To Burst In Tears.

“Remembering The Comet”

The Necrophile Hummingbird netlabel presents Remembering The Comet by Yoshiwaku.
“Minimal Music for Serial Listeners”
This is the third part of the trilogy “Under the ground, inside the flesh & over the sky” including, in second Häxan Cult and in first Music To Burst In Tears. The tracks are really at the frontier between CorteX and Yoshiwaku.
Because I’m really fan of Terry Riley’s Serial Music the first 3 tracks are a blink eye to is “A Rainbow in Curved Air” album, but the music is not that much sounding like serialism, more the usual hypnotic improvised music I do.

Recorded between April and May 2023 at the Cave Haven In Foucherans.

Dedicated to all those who release free their dreams.

Wanda & Nova deViator – ARP 339

Wanda & Nova deViator – ARP 339

Wanda & Nova deViator

ARP 339

With Escherian devotion to infinity, the electro-punk music charge of Wanda and Nova deViator subtly flows from cool cosmic cyberfuturism to heated dance-floor fever. Drawing on a variety of genre offshoots, Maja Delak and Luka Prinčič use repetition to seamlessly develop the heritage of polyrhythm and deep bass tremors from domestic intimacy into an all-encompassing atmosphere. Their sonic habitat reflects existing social structures with technological precision, throwing a harsh light on flaws without fetishizing criticism. The world they weave from fragments of universality via sizzling electronic impulses and hypnotic vocal expression would likely be described as science fiction three decades ago – but today it is uncomfortable to think how accurately it reflects our own reality.

Building on the foundation established by their praised debut Pacification (Kamizdat, 2013), the diverse artists complement and upgrade the sounds of their upcoming new record with a live performance that reconceptualises their musical hybrid within the framework of intermedia and dance arts. Sensuality meets anger, passion cavorts intellectually with rebellion, yet at the same time, without endangering their own principles, the duo successfully follows the unwritten rule – this kind of music simply has to catch one’s ear willingly, sink in and touch the listener.

“El Puente”

“The EP “El Puente” arises as a result of a project shift in what would be the new album of this project,
leaving these 4 tracks trapped in a limbo but with some things in common such as the fascination for jazz and the use of sound collage and sound manipulation.”

Essentia Sound & Ekodust

“Synthetic Elements”

Echoes of roots run deep,
In slow heavy dub they seep,
Sub-basses thump and pound,
Synthetic elements resound.

A hypnotic rhythm takes hold,
As echoes repeat and unfold,
The dub flows like a river,
Taking us on a journey to deliver.

Deep, dark, and sublime,
This music transcends time,
Dub’s legacy is strong,
Its echoes forever long.
