“Crustacean Welt” by Efficient Refineries has been electronically generated during Miguel Ruiz’ visit at Pharmakustik-studio Germany in May 2012 (located at the seaside of Northgermany). The album contains six improvisational soundscapes that involve the complete hardware-and software-equipment by M.Ruiz and S.Fricke who collaborated in an almost telepathic state of mind. The album offers six morphological pools, constantly changing and overlapping in their crustalogical details and an acoustic collection of small or microscopic sound-events, including algae and protozoans floating and drifting inside the stereo-panorama. Beside the deep organic quality the album also involves autotrophic rhythms that were modified by modular plugins and embedded into the subaquatic whole. The time for phytoplanctonic mind-cinema has begun.
Welcome back, Bengalfuel. Lou DiBenedetto & Joe LiTrenta began making music together around the end of 2009 and have released music on various labels such as Hibernate Recordings, Rural Colours, Lizard Breakfast and Twice Removed.
After their contribution to the RB100-series with “Kokolias” Bengalfuel are doing their next release on Resting Bell. “Neely” is meant to be a continuation of “Kokolias”. Taking the general feeling and transferring it to a deeper and sometimes darker level. That doesn’t mean that you get a dark ambient album. All pieces have their typically wonderful, atmospheric and melodic quality. But in some tracks you can find a darker mood, more chaotic elements or some unexpected turns.
“Neely” is a great album for these warm summer days (here in Germany). And you can compare it to the actual summer weather here. It is mostly warm and mild, but sometimes you can get heavy thunderstorms. Please enjoy and thanks a lot Lou & Joe.

#324: Alexander Chereshnev / Rural Parks
M3U FMP3 Tracks : 4
Alexander Chereshnev has been missing from Kahvi for quite some time, but thankfully a new ep has arrived direct from his studio in Russia.
Instead of the industrial beats we’re used to in his previous releases, Alexander takes us on a swirling, misty exploration of sound.
Rural Parks is a four track ep containing pure ambience, not unlike our heroes Global Communication, that drags you into entirely new worlds to experience new sounds and textures. An excellent release which sincerely expands your mind. Cover photo by Donnie Nunley.
Shake your ass to the beat of the Crossfaders’ electro sabers, funky groove and dubstep sounds!
And in addition to the 3 original tracks there are also as many remixes by Sebastian Love, NiHiL and Arcade Discoforgia…
Freshness has never been so cool!

ETHER VOYAGE + ( evp trasmission);
The night before the performance I will lay in a part of the city a recording magnetic tape with no human presence there, (“retrocasuality”). During my performance a friend of mine will send me the nocturnal recorded files, unknowed for me, that I will manipolate with softwares. I will use stringed instruments from western tradition (cello) and eastern tradition like “esraj” together will interact with the rest of the sounds, presences tryng to destabilizing and causing a derangment with the digital dimension. The concert-performance wants to be a research and an evidentiation of the metaphysical sound, of the microsounds and its effects on the human perception and and inspired to the work of: Leif Elggren (Elgaland-Vargaland) C.M. Von Haussvolff Nikola Tesla and Konstantin Raudive.
