Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

This was the first presentation of Demetrio Cecchitelli’s side moniker, five years ago.

Surrounded by and giving life to one of the northern-most, temperate rainforests in the world, the Pacific Northwest’s chalak’At’sit (Hoh River) carves its way from the glaciers of Mount Olympus towards the Pacific Coast.

Close your eyes and let the soundscape of chalak’At’sit envelope you in her emerald, verdant embrace. Layered embers of ethereal tones flicker, then quickly disappear across undulating waves of pirouetting idiphonic vibrations. Thus begins a psychedelic trip through exothermic rainforest-scapes and climaxes nestled in lush, majestic reverie.

Inspired by instrumental music, he creates organic tracks with both rock and electro sounds, which he stacks to create a solid base for inspired aerial melodies.

Amuse​​-​​gueules Vol. 3 happens after dusk. On a damp night in 1Q84, Aomame nurses her verre à absinthe, at a hotel bar in Shibuya as 10 Sides of Ethel Ennis floats out from the jukebox with a gratuitous level of lusciousness. Meanwhile, El Sapo dreams of endless battles of contrasting memories.

The Amuse​​-​​gueules series (‘lil hors d’œuvre appetizers) has been a platform for experimentation, a tabula rasa of sorts, for RR to upend older, unfinished ideas while introducing new ting and refining studio technique. Since Volume 1, I’ve versioned a number of riddims, repurposed long-form spoken word from Chocolat and tucked Ethel Ellis under warp garridge basslines, all while managing to pull off an indisposable slice of “afterburn rave” delectability.
