Here in Europe, we often foolishly think of the east as inherently “other” or exotic. Even referring to “the east” implies we are somehow the centre or origin. East of where?

People are people, everywhere. We are interested in all the nations, all the musical traditions, all the histories. We like to explore a little of that with our music. Here, we look back at some ancient nations and cultures.
