about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, February 1st, 2026

Dear friends and followers of clongclongmoo. It's great to have you here. As you may have noticed, the site has changed a bit. Some people wanted to be able to access the music with fewer clicks. That should work again now. Here's a quick note to everyone who uses relatively new platforms such as Mirlo, Faircamp, or Coop: feel free to use the submit form to draw attention to your new music. I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who runs a netlabel with free Creative Commons music. Thank you! Konrad from clongclongmoo

Emerald Park – Go!Go!Go!

[086]

Emerald Park

“Go!Go!Go!”

23 Seconds Netlabel proudly presents our sixth release by the Malmö indie pop group, Emerald Park.

In 2015, Emerald Park have taken on a somewhat more divergent musical persona. With much experimentation, their sound has grown beautifully, travelling from acoustic and ukelele-driven tunes to more indie pop and electronic atmospheres, the band having shifted towards the use of electric guitars, Moogs and various synths. The Swedish outfit find strength and resource in this continuous progress, making the new 7-track album “Go!Go!Go!” a very compelling record and listening experience.

Ascetic – The Citizen Made of Glass

[PLANET046]

Ascetic

“The Citizen Made of Glass”

It seems like an age since we released Ascetic’s A Network of Lines That Intersect,
a brooding mixture of dark techno and ambient industrial noise.
Originally cutting his teeth on breakcore under his Machinochrist
moniker, the UK-born, Berlin-based artist has more recently been
refining this brand of intense and atmospheric pseudo-techno.

There is plenty to get your teeth into with The Citizen Made of Glass,
from solid stompers to beatless wonders, all of them carrying a
dexterity and depth that mark Ascetic out as a producer of genuine
talent.

Periodo Particular

“Minima Comun Oscilacion”

The Dubbstyle – Simona

[DPH022]

The Dubbstyle

“Simona”

The brothers Mauro Waro Salina and Federico Bindub Salina started making their first appearances to the public five years ago, as djs in the local scene of the city of Mendoza, Argentina. Soon they started incorporating in their sets their own compositions. This happened in the middle of year 2012, when the two djs started demonstrating and promoting their own music through various events in different venues. Their sound is a mixture of trip hop, reggae and dubstep, presented to the audience in a live dubwise style.

In the late 2012 Waro decided to commit himself totally to the bass and Bindub took the role of the Dub Master. That is how THE DUBBSTYLE was born, a live dub project from Argentina, in the spirit of the new breed of dub acts combining live sounds with the traditional on-stage dubbing. They perform as a duo in Mendoza, Valparaiso (Chile) and Cordoba.

During their live shows there is a very distinct stage presence with them dressed up as monkeys, staying anonymous to the public. Nevertheless, it is the originality of their sound their big asset. Especially during their lives, their sound enters into new dimensions with the addition of many guest musicians on drums, guitar, percussion and horns.

Although quite new in the dub scene, they have already released halfway of 2013 their first EP titled “Blood Fire”, a self-release that can be downloaded for free from their own webpage. It is through that release that they were discovered by Dubophonic and were included in the compilation Explorations in Dub with the track Alive, while they also appeared on the Red Star Martyrs’ EP Time for tea serving their own recipe of Mint tea.

SIMONA is the firts EP on Dubophonic by The Dubbstyle. It includes six brand new tracks by the Argentinian duo, juggling between trip hop beats, dubstep, traditional South America melodies and reggae, all presented in their own original dubwise style. We have included also an unreleased cut of their first track “Bloodfire”, specially reconstructed for this release, featuring Enzo Furiasse on the live trombone, properly dubbed and spaced out. With these words said, please welcome the new heavyweight dub sound from Mendoza! The Dubbstyle!

Wings of an Angel – Who Is Incomprehensible?

[Self Release ]

Wings of an Angel

“Who Is Incomprehensible?”

Life swirls and twirls without an end to infinity, and so do we… There’s nothing stable and coherent, as much as we’d like to believe that divine lie. The best, perhaps most creative, example of this perception is the stupendous cinematic experience – Holy Motors (2012) which demonstrates exactly that – the infinitude of roles, masks and scripts we follow daily – who to a radical degree and who moderately and consciously. This album speaks of this and more so; it is a transitional passage for me, an omen of an old-new beginning – the transformation of my long-awaiting master-plan from abstract theory into practice. Meaning, creating my own brute universe of otherworldly classical music, which is loosely based on pseudo-coherent ideas of sound, rhythm, motion etc’. But at the same breath is second to none in its far-out bold vision of what an alternative universe of music could be.

Taker 51 – Lorem Ipsum

[hpr093]

Taker 51

“Lorem Ipsum”

Happy Puppy is pleased to add the music of Taker 51 from Spain to our little home on the net. It’s the personal project of Raul Díaz, where he blends an organic mix of electric and acoustic sounds, ranging from ambient to industrial.

I supposed it would be labeled as ‘post-rock’ (a term I’ve never really understood), but there’s also some nice progressive rock elements, as heard on the opening track “Supercell”. It’s got lots of cool synths, guitars and drums. It’s nicely arranged, produced and played and we hope you enjoy it as much as we.

Guerra de Cerdos – Y Te Sacaran Los Ojos

[166]

Guerra de Cerdos

“Y Te Sacaran Los Ojos”

Guerra de Cerdos its a Band from Buenos Aires formed in june of 2013, with the idea of generate a communion of artistic expression through the music. His lyrics deal with historical and social topics ,existencialism and other philosofical issues. His sound is born on in such diverses genres like post punk , hardcore and thrash metal, creating a very own style with autentic and original force. The influences from joy division to Slayer, with the punk rock of the clash and the speed of minor threat, and add melodic elements. This days they are a TRIO , with Tapita( Guitar and Vocals) , Osky( Bass and vocals) both former members of Ratticidio, and zala in drums and vocals( played in a number of local bands like nash, arrebato, ,neuroticos, nacidos para perder, etc).

Guerra de Cerdos have a sound that is very old school yet original with the main focus being on post punk with the melody of gothic pop and they also mix the speed of hardcore punk and the heaviness of thash metal to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very powerful and the lyrics cover history, existencialism and philosophy.

Something a bit special for this month. First a slightly earlier release than usual and secondly, it’s welcome once again to one of our favourite artists – Planet Boelex returns to Kahvi! After a significant break from Kahvi shores, Boelex is back with a fantastic six track ep with his latest work.

Back with his trademark booming basslines, detailed percussion and moody melodies, amongst the goodies in the EP are Swamp Gas Part 2 rework and a guest appearance by Data Rebel, with a remix of New Beginning.
