about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, February 1st, 2026

Dear friends and followers of clongclongmoo. It's great to have you here. As you may have noticed, the site has changed a bit. Some people wanted to be able to access the music with fewer clicks. That should work again now. Here's a quick note to everyone who uses relatively new platforms such as Mirlo, Faircamp, or Coop: feel free to use the submit form to draw attention to your new music. I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who runs a netlabel with free Creative Commons music. Thank you! Konrad from clongclongmoo

Valery & The Greedies – Where’s Satan? (Re-edition 2014)

[SCL144]

Valery & The Greedies

“Where’s Satan? (Re-edition 2014)”

«Where’s Satan?»
«Where’s Satan?» зазвучал новыми красками – стал ярче, громче, плотнее, и главное: стал более психоделичным и танцевальным. Ведь не под это ли, сейчас танцуют бесы на вечеринке у Сатаны? Кстати, а где Сатана?

Dream Park – DP

YARNLP01

Dream Park

“DP”

DP is the first long-player by Dream Park, with real name Patrick Bernet. He is a producer from Syracuse / New York who found into electronic music with the «Drum’n’Bass for Papa» LP / EPs by Plug. You can clearly hear a lot of Luke Vibert’s influence in his tracks, as well as Jean-Jacques Perrey, Squarepusher, old school techno and acid.
The album has been released on Patricks label Dream Park Records in June, on Yarn Audio it is now getting a re-release under a Creative Commons license.

Terrorrythmus – Adaption Disorder Remixes Pt. 2

YARN010

Terrorrythmus

“Adaption Disorder Remixes Pt. 2”

Terrorrhythmus’ «Adapion Discorder» seems to be Yarn’s most smashing EP to date, judging by the almost endless amount of remixes. After the release of the uptempo remix-pack back in June, Yarn now presents «Adaption Disorder Remixes Pt. 2». The second remix-EP keeps up with the high energy, concentrating on a dancefloor-friendly tempo-range.

>From Germany’s rough bank capital Frankfurt comes machine-musician Chris Geschwindner. The affiliate of the young label polen.rec woves «40h»’s pads and samples together with a shuffled house groove. His remix develops over eight minutes, leaving smiles everywhere with its airy and sunny atmosphere.

A totally different interpretation of «40h» comes from Llyphon. Terrorrhythmus’ mate from Bremen already released on his imprint Betonblume and DubKraftRecords. With stumbling bassdrums, flirring hi-hats and washed-out samples he transforms Terrorryhthmus’ trap track into a lush and varied piece of contemporary electronic music.

Also from Bremen comes producer and DJ in demand Tobs who just dropped his first vinyl on Drowned Records. His «Leaving Home»-version of «Post Smack» is full of warm pads and synths, unfolding sentimental feelings over a pretty straight house beat.

Uprising Belgian producer Take Away The Noise seems to have hardcore in his blood. His seven minute long adaption of «Post Smack» utilizes the original’s vocals in a stumping techno garment. Breaks and shuffled bassdrums penetrate the rough track which is designed to destroy dancefloors.

Started DJing and producing his own tracks with the name borrowed from the coolest jet fighter ever. Pišta Kráľovič aka FVLCRVM is one of the guys for whose using the same pattern twice would never work.

V.A. – String Factory

V.A.

“String Factory”

V.A. – String Factory (GERGAZ)
Some months ago a few of the finest young producers from Czech Republic and Slovakia had a wonderful chance to meet together and work on some music. That happened thanks to Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp in Bratislava. Filled with joy and delight part of them decided to meet up again and undertake this creative outburst once again. So thanks to Atelier Bavlna and Red Bull, Fallgrapp, FVLCRVM, Jimmy Pé and Stroon gathered together again on the premises of the String Factory. The guys were joined by two up-and-coming lady producers and vocalists Tante Elze and Nika Mi.

The outcome is a 6 track compilation offering insight into what a co-op of Slovak producers sounds like, released now on GERGAZ Label. The set is rich in terms of tempo, atmosphere, influence and styles and it’s kicked off with an all-in-one banger “Doesn’t Matter” by FVLCRVM and Jimmy Pé. Next up is a lyrical and fantasy-like “Baby Boy” by trio Fallgrapp, Stroon and Tante Elze. FVLCRVM comes up with a vocal percussive sound trip “Pink”. The beat gets straighter as Fallgrapp and Stroon brought some tech/trance approach to retro synths called “X-Type”. Cinematic wobbly half-tempo “Hit Me” by Jimmy and Fallgrapp comes one before last and the compilation concludes with soulful and slow “Daydreams” by long-term cooperators Jimmy Pé and Tante Elze.

Analog – Lumina

TWG015

Analog

“Lumina”

Haling from Chile, The Waveform Generator is very happy to be releasing the newest release from the South American ‘King of Chiprave’, with the title being cemented within this three-track, latin-inspired dancefloor crater-creator.

Lumina sees Analog reaching the peak of his rave composition skills, with three tracks spitting kinetic grooves through an unrelenting fourteen minutes. With frequent nods to Latin and House music, Analog has crafted his most eclectic, condensed, affective and somehow sprawling release yet.

Whilst The Waveform Generator usually deals in the esoteric, the Deep House tones, Nanoloop manipulation and lofi attitude of Lumina give an irresistibly unorthodox take on very modern dance and club music, a maelstrom of mainstream numbers frothing with tomes of leftfield ideas just below the surface. Made for neon nights and strobing smoke-filled pits, Lumina is just as effective in a home environment. And you’ll still get as sweaty.

“Attiic’s Age”

L0BIT proudly presents the wonderful adventurous album by Stefano Balice!

—–
attic’s age
—–
cat: L0BIT03
keywords: electronica, electro, synthpop, experimental, dance,
movie soundtracks, ambient, pop, neo-classical, melodic, lobit!

tracklist:
1. – 1 (3:01)
2. – 2 (3:48)
3. – 3 (3:38)
4. – 4 (2:17)
5. – 5 (2:39)
6. – 6 (2:23)
7. – 7 (2:09)
8. – 8 (1:49)
9. – 9 (1:37)
10. – 10 (3:03)

An album that contains catchy theme movie music,
electronica, synthesizers, playfulness
great stories, old school times, and melodies that are unforgetable!

Never has the story of the attic’s age been told so colorfully in the bliss of music.
The thematic melodic compositions are compelling and friendly,
while always on the move from unsuspected story lines!

Next to the great music that will make synth pioneer Mister jarre probably skin color turn into yellow,
Stefano Balice also included the so called special FX and movie extra’s!

The only thing that you have to come up with yourself, is the actual visualization of it all,
unless you just want to dance on the grooves, show some skillful moves and enjoy these fine melodies!

The attic age is an album that you shouldn’t want to miss out on,
as it brings a diversity that is bright, catchy, groovable, interesting,
alienating, rhythmic, and above all extremely fun! (and slightly insane!)

Think polar bears, grooving with kraftwerk robots, and mister michel jarre tied up in a corner!
Think deep ambient, that is outrageously beautiful that it will definitely surprise you!

It’s the album of the year!
it’s ‘attic’s age’ by Stefano Balice!

free download, just to proof things actually do get better when they are non commercial!

Klaus Marten – Satiety

Klaus Marten

“Satiety”

This album of mine, Satiety, I think is really good for two reasons: 1, each track to me is really great at capturing and even painting a certain mood. Each track is its own world. And yet, it is also incredibly cohesive considering that, as the whole thing seems to combine to form a singular statement, whatever that may be. The largely abstract and open nature of my instrumentals allows the listener to draw his or her own conclusions.
