about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

Me In The Bath

“Oldies Never Recorded Before”

With this album, Me In The Bath jailed itself into an interesting concept : record exclusively never-recorded-before oldies, all of them being written by the one-man-band’s frontman at the turn of the millennium, too late for being played in a band with what is known by the sheerest specialists as “Gorbie’s Stuff first era”, a band that existed briefly and never released tracks, and the birth of Beatles II. Most if not any of these 6 tracks were left at the state of rough melody just playing inside Shangri-l’s brain while working on loading luggage inside planes at an international airport. 8 tracks were planned initially, but the leftover two ones are defined by the band (in the Musique Libre forum) as “problem tracks”, and finally only 6 are this release, which had been recorded and unveiled track after track since 2024, until the last one got recorded on time for a Netlabel Day 2026 release. Note that “Friend Jerry” has got its music video.
