about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

echogarden

“compilation vol1”

echogarden is the place to be for everyone who’s heart beats for dub techno. It’s the place where dub meets deep, where the air is filled with echo and where chords and atmospheric sounds intermingle.

Yet, echogarden is about much more than just the music. It’s about experiencing the adventure of linking sound, people and nature with all your senses. It’s about people coming together to discover and celebrate a new kind of happening.

Be part of it: Join echogarden and make it flourish.

Mekha – Immersion LP

Mekha – Immersion LP
[CUT015]

Mekha

“Immersion LP”

Experimental bass and deep techno tracks.

Mekha provides a deep, introspective selection of tracks, working in his own dark glitchy beeped-up dub-techno style of beatmaking with a range of collaborators.

Spaceape-esque vocals from MegaZimze, dusty female focals from Snowflake and a host of far-out remixes from Dsve Hosx, The Raging Sea, Emmerichk and Plug.

This is headphone electronica at it’s most polished.

Андрей Субботин – Святой Демон

Андрей Субботин – Святой Демон
[GT601]

Андрей Субботин

“Святой Демон”

We’re surrounded by music everywhere. In cafes, in malls, in taxis. But in most cases it do not reach your soul remaining an obtrusive thought which we sometimes irresistibly want to get rid of.
But what if to add rhythmic verses with reflections upon absolutely various themes to constantly transforming, politonous music? This was a very idea, which started recording of “Svyatoy Demon” album by Andrey Subbotin, with Joseph as a composer.
You will hear both “drum roll bursts” in “Триумф” (Triumph) and gratitude to “classics and philosophers in “Книги” (Books).

Marc de Blanchard – Serenade

Marc de Blanchard

“Serenade”

Paris, November 26, 2012 – Today, eclectic label Da! Heard it Records announces the launch of its 19th release, Serenade by Marc de Blanchard.

With this EP, hybrid musician Marc de Blanchard offers the listener a sound journey between field, computer, and chamber music. Serenade is a cinematic EP marked with magic and levity, yet nostal-gic and robotic at the same time. Music boxes and cracking sounds go face-to-face, finally creating an enchanting and catchy melody. Throughout the pieces, Sérénade reminds us of the mechanical and electronic carousels, the fun fair and its lights, the forest and its fauna. And Marc de Blanchard achieves his bet to thrust us into an all-new universe of monsters, electricity, and bird songs.

After Astroboiler, and Vengeance, this 19th release fits itself into a will for eclecticism. Da! Heard it Records astonishes, thus confirming its ambition for discovery and exploration, and promising beautiful surprises in the months to come.

Distributed under Creative Commons, the EP can be downloaded here for free : http://www.daheardit-records.net/en/discography/dhr-19#release

Alexei Borisov, Olga Nosova, Eren Ileri, Aras L. Seyhan

“Art Der Anwendung”

Alexei Borisov and Olga Nosova, members of undisputedly powerful and amazing duo ASTMA, collaborated with Aras Seyhan and Eren Ileri, musicians and artists who currently reside in Austria. The result of their joint musical effort is here – soothing, enchanting sound collection, combining blossoming and tangled melodies, shattering noises and snatches of unspoken, inconceivable stories and words to eject you out of familiar and preserved sonic environment and urging you to explore what’s out there, beyond the realm of convenient sounds and melodies. A diverse and versatile sonic assembly, Art Der Anwendung guides you through very different settings and moods, from wild and brutal noisy electronics to abstract ambient, blissful wall-of-sound extravaganza and rhythmically repressed proto-techno. For those who seek diversity and true liberation in music!
