about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

PROCESS:

Goff and LaGrega recorded ninety-nine minutes of unrehearsed improvisations on January 2, 2026, at the Taped Rugs Studio in Kansas City, Kansas, USA. The duo produced four individual recordings during the session, each following its own unique trail of interactive atmospheres and moods. Goff edited these recordings into their current forms between January and February, 2026, cutting the total playing time by roughly half of its original length.

The elements of “Uniphonic Dawn” were recorded first, as a single, digital, monophonic track. Originally intended as a test of the wiring set-up, this piece ended up displaying some considerable interactive artistry between the improvisers. Goff retained its monophonic attributes in his edit.

The other three improvisations were each recorded digitally as well as on cassette tape, through a Tascam 4–Track cassette deck. The cassette recordings broke the instrumentation into tracks that could be edited individually. Staying as true as possible to the ebbs and flows of the original improvisations, Goff removed some of the less compelling materials, moved some other elements forward and backward in time, and sparsely added effects to various bits. No materials from any of the four original recordings were transferred to any of the other original recordings. No new elements were added to any of the original recordings. No artificial intelligence (AI) was employed in the editing of this collection.

THEME (?)

As Goff painstakingly worked to refine these recordings, he became more and more conscious of how they acted together to subtly reveal the rudiments of a metaphorical jumping-off point for a journey into a new beginning. (Of course, this metaphor was conjured entirely by Goff’s imagination, which has often been known to stray from traditional human behaviors.) Goff’s whole “new beginning” idea was reinforced by the fact that this collection of recordings was literally birthed at the beginning of a new year.

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊 !!!! No Problema Tapes version

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊 !!!! is a collaborative mixtape curated by Obituary Hermit & ᴋᴀꜱꜱɪᴀɴ ᴋᴏᴜʏᴀᴋɪɴ, designed as a way to bring together different artists from the underground internet music community, regardless of their respective musical genres and offer them a way to experiment and express themselves with absolute creative freedom.
All of the artists present on the tape were asked to make one or two tracks with no limitation at all. This text below was sent to each of them to give them a bit of inspiration, but they were also allowed to decide not to follow the « lore » of the project.

« The world is in big trouble. Giant monsters known as « kaijus » are attacking all across the globe. The ground is trembling beneath their feet, countries are falling, governments are hopeless ; the world as we know it is on the verge of collapse. But as all hope seems lost, a secret order only known as « The Underground » unités once again to face the otherworldly threat.
Will they be able to stop this monstrous menace ? Or is earth doomed for good ? »

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊 !!!! is a unique and fun project with many previously unheard sounds from artists you enjoy :)

Yogurt for Breakfast – Help Wanted

Yogurt for Breakfast – Help Wanted
[pn249]

Yogurt for Breakfast

“Help Wanted”

The release “Help Wanted” by Yogurt for Breakfast (Emilio Adasme) is a journey that involves the painstaking deconstruction of a sonic fragment into unique spaces, where the sample comes alive, being played like an instrument, as the performer explores the complex relationship between rhythm, melody, and timbre. It is the beautiful experience of witnessing a beat flow and stretch into a passage full of layers — or listening as it suddenly collapses into itself, sounding almost like a guitarist juxtaposing rapid passages, pauses, and fluctuating melodies that hover in the limbo between tone and rhythm.

It is expression carried to its highest potential: using the smallest grain of sound and shaping it into an architecture that is both intricate and thrilling. At times we are given glimpses of its raw material; moments later, we witness its metamorphosis and allow ourselves to be enveloped by its striking presence. It’s astonishing to hear how something so tiny becomes disassembled, revealing its inner complexity — and even more exciting when we recognize its origin, yet find it transformed into something entirely different.

It’s funny that the majority of these sounds feel both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time, creating a strange duality of closeness and distance. We experience a kind of Berenstain-syndrome effect, where we believe we recognize something even though we are not certain what it is.

To sum up, I find it remarkable how something so small and recognizable can turn into such a complex, unsettling monster — all thanks to the exploration of sound with the sensitivity of someone playing an instrument, where fluidity breathes life into something that feels both familiar and entirely new.

“Radio Pirate”

The Necrophile Hummingbird Non Profit Netlabel presents Radio Pirate by ardleg.

“When the music is over… the radio is still on air”

One more Plunderphonics Masterpiece ! Would say the virtual sandwich man… When you reach a difficult point… listen the F… word : épreuve… in the 21st century… would say the insane translator… but me, I’m only speaking of the track number 21… when you realize that yes, it’s a challenge, and this pirate radio isn’t going to hack your brain, but… it’s tight close.

– So never give this kind of album to sensitive people like me !!

– That said, I really like it, it’s very disruptive and the kind of thing that’s perfect for end-of-the-world holiday meals.

– In the 23rd I heard the voice of God. (The French call it “dieu”)

– No, I’m just speaking normally, I don’t see what you mean.

– Do you want to release it on the Necrophile Hummingbird Netlabel on December 30th?

– I’d love to. It’s unusual, but a nice culmination. What are you going to do now that the music is finished?

– Oh, nothing, may be, just keep creating really beautiful, psychoactive music.

– Is this practically an introduction?

This could have been written by an Artificial Intelligence… If there are only Artificial Intelligences behind the screen, what the point to keep it human ?
Perhaps because when the lines are blurred, we need to focus on what is the real humanity : unsubdued & untamed & underground. The Necrophile Hummingbird Non Profit Netlabel presents Radio Pirate by ardleg

Sunnesther’s latest addition to her prolific catalog keeps reassuring her place as one of Mexico’s cult, independent artists that have found in electronic music an outlet, not just for experimentation, but for deeply personal expression as well. It should go without saying, but Sunnesther has always been able to endow her music with raw emotion that oozes through her excellent use of sampling and sound manipulation, and this album is no exception.

Moki Mcfly – Divin(e)tion: Music in the key of zero

Moki Mcfly – Divin(e)tion: Music in the key of zero
[mhrk442]

Moki Mcfly

“Divin(e)tion: Music in the key of zero”

“This recording is a deliberate act of listening as thinking, a ritual engagement with sound as sovereign and self articulating. It seeks no allegiance to narrative conventions nor does it ask the listener to tether meaning to fixed symbols. This is sound emancipated from the burden of story, a form of nonverbal divination that gestures toward the ineffable. It does not bow to the logic of colonizers or the formulas of consumerist industry. It is sound standing on its own feet, barefoot on ancestral soil.

At the core lies the concept of zero, not as absence but as the fertile void of infinite becoming. Zero is the resonant silence from which all frequencies arise and return, where hierarchy dissolves and one becomes both interpreter and contributor. This recording is less a composition and more a sonic commons: open, recursive and indeterminate. The intention is not to impose meaning but to generate space where meaning can emerge co-creatively. This project rests on a necessary inversion, to listen as an act of collective becoming.

It is what happens when we stop trying to master meaning and instead make space for it to rise on its own, free from human malice.”

Released May 9, 2025 as free (cc) digital download and beautiful limited cassette edition.

Moki Mcfly is a music producer from Manila, Philippines. He is known for his atmospheric instrumental production which incorporates sound elements from nature and extensive use of jazz and tagalog samples. His fondness for acoustic sounds caused his music to come over as unusually nocturnal and warm. Space and texture remain not just formidable, but remarkably relevant aking inspiration from jazz, folk, and experimental as well as the whole canon of electronic music. He has been regarded as ambient, trip hop, some combination of the two, and expiremental. Moki Mcfly prefers to exercise an ideological distance from the genres he usually falls into, while maintaining an organic appreciation for all music forms and styles. His sound is a cross-pollination of the arcane and the futuristic, where he guides you through his train of thought, displacement and discourse. A swank noise of clever phrases, poetic flashcards and split references, even if they’re essentially about nothing in particular where narration is unspoken.

Radiovision vs. Earsheltering

EARSHELTERING: 20 years of noise

earsheltering celebrates is 20th anniversary in 2024 with a various artists release as a tribute to RADIOVISION.

Thanks to all artists & friends who supported this project & also EARSHELTERING since 20 years, especially Alkbazz providing a wonderful artwork within short timelines & Françis Baume for Amazing sampling from Radiovision to create interludes between each tracks.
The release is available as a free virtual double disc available on archives & bandcamp(s). Disc 1 is dedicated to Radiovision serie and disc 2 is dedicated to Radiovision Eveil serie.
1 video clips by CorteX is also made available.

Radiovision is an educational program which was launched in 1955, combining a school radio program with a slide show and a booklet. Forgotten today, it was a great success until the 1980s.

The slideshow and booklets were received on request by schools a few weeks before the radio program was broadcast. The colored slideshow pictures were larger and in a higher definition than the television image could offer. Paintings, engravings, manuscripts and old photographs were rendered with a higher quality than television couldn’t reach. It was therefore particularly useful for Geography, History of Arts and Natural Sciences classes.

The teacher had to manually ensure synchronization between images and sounds, triggering the transition to the next slide at each the sound signal.

During the 70s, in addition to the combination of sounds and still images, radiovisions became part of a more complete multimedia system, from an educational and tools point of view, and made up the radiovisual file. Each week, two programs from the “Radio-awakening” series would be associated with the radiovision, developing complementary aspects of the subject dealt with, along with educational documents gathered together in a file (15 to 20 pages of program content analysis, bibliography, texts, photographs, maps, etc.).

From the 1974-75 school year onwards, a flexy 7 inch disk would be part of the package for a few files, and then it developed to become more systematically; in the 80s, audio cassettes took over the flexy 7 inch disk.

About the album:

“This is a story about a foolish mage and apprentice who are tasked with summoning beasts from alternate dimensions to wage war. Unfortunately the apprentice goes digging into his master’s research and decides to try and summon himself a girlfriend, which ends up snowballing into him causing the apocalypse. Samples are all the

About the artist:

“I started Sqvire mainly to explore new visual styles with no rules: whatever I think is cool. I have admired the barber beats movement from afar for a while, and was finally moved to start plundering lo-fi beats from discovering undersaken’s “cope for lack of meaning” series. Since starting though I’ve developed a love for many more styles of music and plan to experiment a lot sonically and visually.
