about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, February 1st, 2026

Dear friends and followers of clongclongmoo. It's great to have you here. As you may have noticed, the site has changed a bit. Some people wanted to be able to access the music with fewer clicks. That should work again now. Here's a quick note to everyone who uses relatively new platforms such as Mirlo, Faircamp, or Coop: feel free to use the submit form to draw attention to your new music. I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who runs a netlabel with free Creative Commons music. Thank you! Konrad from clongclongmoo

agnès pe – morti fire

[pyr077]

agnès pe

“morti fire”

agnès pe works on sound beyond the limits enshrined by any genre. her work is characterized by a fun and overwhelming attitude – an all or nothing style that covers the parameters of lo-fi music. this self-taught musicologist is a multidisciplinary researcher that is encapsulated by mystifying melodies and is always seeking new ways of relating to the elements she re-composes. she is interested in the non-common, regardless of their label.

her first album is based on electronics and samples. beats, mechanics, factory work, pummel.

Various – ROL The Beat Tape Vol. 3

[SSOS34]

Various

“ROL The Beat Tape Vol. 3”

Since Rapohnelizenz Beat Tape Vol. 1 and 2 took us a while to finish, issue No. 3 was an even longer journey. A huge folder with over 150 beats from several different countries had to be sorted out. It took tons of patience and a whole lot of love for beats to finally make this possible. Thanks to all the producers, artists and friends for all the support. Our next upcoming release will be the last one released as digital only. We are already working on our next release which will be on vinyl too. For the moment please enjoy our Beat Tape Vol. 3. We think it is really diverse and features some of the illest producers out there. We are really proud having all those nice and uncomplicated people featured. Much respect to you all. Its all about the Funk, the Beats and the Love. Stay tuned for more. We´re starting to cook things up right here at mummed.org. If you want to support us with our first vinyl release you can donate/name your price. Much ♥!

Batard Tronique – Gangsta Paradise

[NKSprod109]

Batard Tronique

“Gangsta Paradise”

breakbeat / dubstep / mashup
ogg 350 zip or mp3 320 zip
NKS International Muzakillabel
01. let us making a bloody drive by feat. korpse
02. mustache golden chain
03. dirty south béguine
04. like an old gangsta tune
05. booty shake
06. disko disko mustafa
07. sounds
08. you sniffing all my sounds
09. I was a teenage pimp
10. ukranian mob anthem

Illegal Narcotic Ride

[REC001]

Re-Drum

“Illegal Narcotic Ride”

This album is more tan just samples over my stuff or a big mashup… It’s more an hommage to a certain kind of experimentalism that happened after WWII, a sort of re-interpretation of the psychedelic experience. We know who are the masters: The Doors, Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Stockhausen, Can and the German scence, even Aphex Twin… all were making true psychedelic music. I’m not talking about the new psy, even if I like some stuff (psychill mostly). It’s more towards rock music. But you can still dance on it. Some tracks are more suitable for home listening than others. I would say the first half is really made for home listening whereas the second part has a more Club appeal. Hope you’ll enjoy this one, maybe one of my best, put lots of effort into it. It’s made so that you have to listen to it from start to finish.

The Fucked Up Beat – Rust Belt

[NN_LP035_12_12]

The Fucked Up Beat

“Rust Belt”

Experimental Schizo Noir Trip Hop. The Fucked Up Beat. A sound project by Eddie Palmer of New York, NY and Brett Zehner of San Diego, CA created in October 2011. Songs are recorded through e-mail using keyboards, experimental percussion and field recordings. Beats/Field Recordings by B.Zehner. Sounds/Instruments by E.Palmer.

“We have been chased by schizophrenic wolves in the forest and we still are not tired. We traveled to the far ends of a nuclear winter. We slept in the shit and vomit of our ancestors. We felt the fear and went to the telephone. Like Bogart, searching for desperate positions. We find solace in your regret, happiness in your sorrow, and a place to bury ideas. On a boat, there is no lighthouse on the seas, death comes fast and the whale will kill us all. If I should die at the end of the world, will fight the ocean and sink her ship with a thousand harpoons.”

Tending to Huey – Apple Core EP

[djummi.003]

Tending to Huey

“Apple Core EP”

Tending to Huey’s music comes up with ease but is, at the same time, very complex in its design. Thrilling songs right from the start into which you can dive deeply – a fabulous and bravely composed listening-adventure. Not just pure Pop!

The Apple Core EP is in the truest sense of the word the quintessence of the longplayer Poison Apple. It concentrates the album in form of 5 well picked songs.

[tonAtom.121]

v/a

“decAde”

10 years of tonAtom

but be assured: this is not a sentimental retrospective. it is an actualization and refinement of the tonAtom sound for today and the next ten years.

tonAtom artists from the whole “decAde” (2002 – 2012) contributed to an interim report on a label still in progress. from ambient via electronica to uptempo electro and house this release is just a transit station.

so stop over at the anniversary celebration and then let’s be curious about what happens next in this wonderful parallel universe of netaudio.

Hassan K. – 30 Birds

[DDD006]

Hassan K.

“30 Birds”

30 birds. This represents the size of the Simurgh, fabulous eagle from the Persian mythology. This symbolic creature sign of the beginning of the epic heroes stories of Persia. Oscillating between surf rock, electronic and traditional music, this second album decrypts and reinterprets the history… with a touch of madness and absurdity.

Wings of an Angel

“Screaming Silence: The Concept Of Pain”

“I gotta say this… Wings of an Angel – if I had to predict the future of music, I would say listen to ANY of your stuff… Your sound art is so advanced and beyond what we hear in these days & times. You should put an expiration date on your music: Will be good for the next 200 years. It’s really that advanced!”

“Way open-minded outer space aliens who smoke too much space dust would have your music in their atomic ghetto blasters while they ponder the possibility of other life in the universe”
