about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

Eight thousand and thirty days later.
The known world lies in crumbs.
And yet there are still Sundays.

The time has finally come, yayyy! The first edition of the 20th anniversary compilation is out now, only 2 years after the start of planning! It’s the first issue of several partial compilations that come in a listenable album length.

In the upcoming issues you can find songs by Kryptic Universe, Götterkreis, Enzym, Sami Konzo, Matti T, R.Y.D.O.X., 505, Mr Incognito, +Potential differenSe, Anaxy, HUGO MESI, Trans Comfort, Stuub, Alexander Stoica, OMBRA OBSCURA, Buck Flanger, Salaet, D-Fried, MOC, Dimitris Palikaris, Moncro, Eisenberg, Svann E. Langguth, illocanblo, Kuuza (feat. .Khi), Jo Carius … Stay tuned.

22 years later: the desire is still there with the musicians, the skills are there as well. Much more equipment has moved into the houses and and studios. The software is paid for, the incentives or new life contents are numerous. The musical styles have somehow changed. But the desire to express ourselves, to express ourselves in our cosmos still exists.

The first issue delves into more serious electronics. Included old friends, but also musicians that we have not yet not yet heard on Phonocake.

If you like, please send in a track! For the later editions of the celebration compilation. Find the link at release page 150.
