about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

“MAASAI CEREMONIES – Emuratta”

“Juiced Out Trakz”

Mlem – Juiced Out Trakz
A collection of exquisite, artisanal break-based hits in celebration of Mlem Records’ one year anniversary!

These tracks are distilled, high-fructose breakbeat re-arranging liquid. On here Aching Hands strangles Jerma, DJ ZITwerK goes 1 bpm too high, ENNO murders the subwoofer and the label bankrupts over the ammo spent on the intro track’s gunshots.

A tribute to this bizarre collective, our friendship and the beautiful music and adventures it’s spawned.

Big up all massive <3.

“m!ndf*kc”

Edward Reardon, Herbert Lacina & Karlheinz Essl – m!ndf*kc
The music of m!ndf*kc starts from the embrace of a quiet disturbance.

The name, which was chosen not without awareness of the threat of vulgarity, is meant with honesty and, in a sense, generosity. Apparently, the term has been accepted in the psychological community to mean an extremely confusing or disturbing experience. Here, it is an offer to explore that state and come to accept it and enjoy it. The listener is a silent participant welcomed to re-examine what is considered pleasurable, what is fun, and what constitutes balance and structure.

Piano, bass, and electronics co-mix here to create a calm discourse that examines more than it asks or tries to answer. Those expecting to be jarred or unsettled may find the peaceful serendipity of M!ndf*kc disconcerting. Clear lines and pure sounds turn and twist as though obstructions do not exist. The development from climax to anti-climax, from stasis to passage, seems like the inevitable result of either careful planning or sheer faith in probability. After attentively navigating, without judgment, the connections along the way, finding sense and meaning in the upset of stability is where the music finishes. (Edward Reardon)

Equipotenziale 003: The Conclusion of a Triptych Narrative

Equipotenziale 003 marks the final chapter in a conceptual trilogy exploring the equilibrium of psychological, spatial, and narrative forces. Through layered symbolism, nonlinear structure, and abstract imagery, this concluding part resolves tensions established in the previous entries. It examines the convergence of identity, memory, and perception within a framework of artistic equilibrium—where all points hold equal potential. The work’s resolution is not an end, but a stabilization, suggesting continuity beyond closure. This paper analyzes the trilogy’s arc and posits 003 as a meta-commentary on storytelling in post-contemporary visual media.

love sella, AlmabuenA – All my best friends don’t pass the turing test (AlmabuenA Remix)
It all started when fellow the Hagueians Barend of the legendary trip hop duo AlmabuenA and local underground music legend WivWav got stuck in traffic together. After discussing their musical faves they birthed the conceptual remix exchange that would eventually grow into the legendary chopped and rearranged remix twins, the half of which is this release.

AlmabuenA is a fresh trip hop duo from Spain and The Netherlands. Made up of legendary studio master Barend and masterful club beat juggler Almudena. They’ve been f&%$ing up the scene these days, fast tracking remixes left and right. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.

love sella is a legendary renoise producer and cyberwitch/-bitch. Creating dense and energtic electronic punk music for the crazed.

Markus Masuhr – Natural Lifeforms
Requiem for Natural LifeformsIn stillness, Subaqueous Bloom unfurls,
A silent hymn beneath the swirls.
Photosynthetic Drift ascends with grace,
Light-born breath in time’s embrace.

Echoes of Lichen speak in green,
Ancient tongues, quiet and unseen.
The ground heaves with Tectonic Pulse,
Earth’s deep memory, slow and convulse.

Bioluminescent Veins ignite the dark,
Living stars with nature’s spark.
We Respire in Fog, unseen, alive,
In vapor’s hush, we drift and thrive.

A Moss Signal, faint, begins to weep—
Calling to those the soil keeps.
Under the Nocturnal Canopy, we lay,
Returning to life’s silent decay.

“indigo chamber”

indigo chamber – indigo chamber
on the debut ep of indigo chamber, a tension reigns between the urge for escapism and pressing wake-up calls from the real world, which seems to grow more imminent and frightening every day.

finding their retreat in hooky, hypnotic dreampop, the crystalline organs, oceanic synths, waltzy drum machines and languid falsetto vocals don’t seem to disturb the idyllic daydream.

but from under the perfect surface a threat of increasing frustration and dissatisfaction looms, and the ever so safe glass bubble is slowly starting to crack…

40% of this album’s sales will be donated to transvisie (transvisie.nl), an organization representing the interests of transgender and genderdiverse persons in the netherlands.

Dark, icy blues and purples dominate the sonic landscape, punctuated by bursts of neon green and pink. Smooth, clean synths evoke the vastness of space, while a steady, pulsing simulates the rhythmic hum of celestial machinery. Faint, whispered textures evoke the mysteries of time, and distant, ethereal choirs whisper secrets of the cosmos. A perfect combination of electronic and electric acoustic.

“Image of Image”

Farrux Vekhalayev – Image of Image
The cage was perfect. Its six rectangular faces were framed by beams of the finest rays of light–countless lines of all kinds: straight, zigzagging, curved. Each line intersected others at impossible angles and had its own way of being: moments of stillness followed by bursts of vigorous throbbing.
In the center of the room, before a large transparent screen stood two. He was human, or rather whatever was left of him. She was a simulation, immaculate but fragmentary.
“Do you see this?” he asked, pointing to the screen. Only a moment ago, lines like the ones that created the impenetrable boundaries of their space were crawling across it. Now their chaotic pattern transformed into an orderly dance of geometric shapes. Circles, squares, triangles fluttered like dust in the artificial sunlight, subject to an unknown logic.
“This is what music looks like,” her voice shimmered, constantly reassembling itself from the fragments of thousands of other once-heard voices. “A human tool to replay memories—mostly, the ones that never truly existed.”
“I wish I could remember,” he whispered, leaning forward slightly.
Her silhouette trembled, as if shedding a fleeting outline, and then disappeared. A new beam streaked across the screen, rushing into the center of the shifting mass of colors. Сhains of figures collapsed on contact with the foreign element, only to reassemble the moment it moved away.
“It’s an illusion,” she said in her usual expressionless voice, as she regained her form. The lines on the screen were dissolving into a new figure.
“So are we,” he replied, his voice weary, though absent of disappointment.
They stood silently in the room bounded by the geometry of light and emptiness. The music remained a silent vision on the screen.
He, who had forgotten what it meant to remember, and she, who had never known what it meant to be, watched the quiet play of colors and shapes on the virtual canvas without looking away. Somewhere on the other side of the screen, music was playing—a reflection of memories that never existed.
