The result is a fairly strange, yet organic mixture of folk, academic music, downtempo tendencies, and experimental elements.”»

This is electronic music pared down to its essentials, sometimes it acquires a sort of aquatic nature, and dancing to these sounds and beats is not the priority here, whereas introspection and reflection certainly are.

“Uno, dos… One, two… the minimum count to begin to dance, not in a warm place illuminated by the sunshine of the European Mediterranean coast, the place where Carlos Vergara (This Co, Octopus Finger) conceived this debut EP from his alias “Flow Diverter” but for delving into those tight, underground, humid spaces… places where the darkness spreads dense frequencies, charged with electricity, and provocative martial rhythms.

In this “Untitled EP”, the two original compositions are accompanied by their respective remixes, produced by two emblems of Chilean electronica, Miguel Conejeros (aka F600) and Eduardo Yáñez (aka Gozne), who from their respective views and hearings, propose, complement, and expand the sound of Flow Diverter.

Yuriy Zmorovych (Zmorro) was born in Kiev. He was graduated from The Kiev State Art Institute (architectural and art criticism faculties) and Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinema. Worked in The State Museum of Folk Architecture and Mode of Life of Ukraine, scenario writer and film director on Kiev Studio of Scientific Movies and Central Studio of Scientific Movies, The central TV studio (Moscow). The founder of Kiev Theatre AAA.
The verses of Zmorovych were published in magazines “Chernovik” (“Draft Copy” New York),” “Collegium” and “Samvatas” (Kiev), in the Anthology of Russian Vers Libre, almanac “Graffiti” (Kiev).

“Trapistan” is a state of mind. Ostensibly, yes, the aim was to make India’s first album of Trap music but over the 4 months spent ruminating over the concept, much emerged that wasn’t sound. In the U.S. they refer to the “trap house” as the seedy location where criminals engage in nefarious illegal activities. The meaning of the name is somewhat obvious – the lifestyle is tempting, full of the many pleasures of life and heaps of bravado, but in the end, it’s a trap. It consumes you, not the other way around and you can’t just get up and walk out.
