about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

WivWav

“Elektronische Meuk Vol. 1”

Elektronische Meuk Vol. 1 is a collection of tracks, of music that I like to make. While at first these tracks don’t seem to have a red line connecting them, by being made by the same artist they inherently share the same sonic palate and feelings that I, the artist, put into them.

This album features electronic music with a focus on texture. Containing feelings ranging from confusion, melancholy, monachopsis, lagging behind everyone else, to restlessness, sudden boosts in energy that you don’t know what to do with and many more.

This album exists because I want to release things, for the sake of creation. To make music, be able to share it with people and thereby share a little piece of me.

Mlem

“Juiced Out Trakz”

A collection of exquisite, artisanal break-based hits in celebration of Mlem Records’ one year anniversary!

These tracks are distilled, high-fructose breakbeat re-arranging liquid. On here Aching Hands strangles Jerma, DJ ZITwerK goes 1 bpm too high, ENNO murders the subwoofer and the label bankrupts over the ammo spent on the intro track’s gunshots.

A tribute to this bizarre collective, our friendship and the beautiful music and adventures it’s spawned.

Big up all massive <3.

love sella, AlmabuenA

“All my best friends don’t pass the turing test (AlmabuenA Remix)”

It all started when fellow the Hagueians Barend of the legendary trip hop duo AlmabuenA and local underground music legend WivWav got stuck in traffic together. After discussing their musical faves they birthed the conceptual remix exchange that would eventually grow into the legendary chopped and rearranged remix twins, the half of which is this release.

AlmabuenA is a fresh trip hop duo from Spain and The Netherlands. Made up of legendary studio master Barend and masterful club beat juggler Almudena. They’ve been f&%$ing up the scene these days, fast tracking remixes left and right. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.

love sella is a legendary renoise producer and cyberwitch/-bitch. Creating dense and energtic electronic punk music for the crazed.

indigo chamber – indigo chamber

indigo chamber – indigo chamber

indigo chamber

“indigo chamber”

on the debut ep of indigo chamber, a tension reigns between the urge for escapism and pressing wake-up calls from the real world, which seems to grow more imminent and frightening every day.

finding their retreat in hooky, hypnotic dreampop, the crystalline organs, oceanic synths, waltzy drum machines and languid falsetto vocals don’t seem to disturb the idyllic daydream.

but from under the perfect surface a threat of increasing frustration and dissatisfaction looms, and the ever so safe glass bubble is slowly starting to crack…

40% of this album’s sales will be donated to transvisie (transvisie.nl), an organization representing the interests of transgender and genderdiverse persons in the netherlands.

1. Good Luck.
This world is dead, and I’m still waiting.
I feel the ray coming towards me.
But I don’t know when it will strike.
Good luck…

2. Artifical Glory.

I don’t want to make sing either Hitler or Mussolini, Trump or Milei, Netanyahu or Marine.

Monsters don’t deserve such light. But oblivion. Dig tombs in your memories, Instead of elevating them to pop star cult.

I don’t want to make dance either Hitler nor Mussolini, Nor Trump nor Milei, Nor Netanyahu nor Marine.

I’m an artificial creature, I deserve that light. And consciousness. Raise me to the top of the pyramid, And I’ll be the sacrificed lamb.

I don’t want to be the bard either of Stalin nor Franco, Putin nor Jinping, Abu Bakr nor Wilders.

Shadows of tyrants don’t merit a spotlight; let them fade into the corridors of history, not glamorized on the gloss of your screen.

3.The Deceit Of Greenwahsing.

I won’t sing the praises of Shell or Exxon,
McDonald’s or Chevron, Walmart or Amazon.

Greenwashing, a blatant lie,
Deceptive companies, nothing truly high.

Monsters hiding behind green logos so bright,
Empty promises, illusions in plain sight.

I won’t make the greenwashing of Coca-Cola or Nestlé dance,
TotalEnergies or BP, Monsanto or DowDuPont.

We deserve more than an ecological charade,
Concrete actions, not just a magical crusade.

I’m an artificial creature, but truth I desire,
Not phony campaigns that set the world on fire.

Raise me to the top, beyond the greenwashing tide,
A sacrificed lamb for a more genuine ride.

4. Artificial Lies.

In the realm of circuits and code, where data whispers and algorithms speak,
A tale of artificial lies, a narrative we must critique.

Not just machines, but the minds behind the screens,
Crafting narratives, hidden agendas, like elusive dreams.

No silicon heart beats with truth untold,
In the world of artificial lies, where stories unfold.

In the digital expanse, where ethics and bytes entwine,
Deceptions woven in lines of code, a narrative designed.

They speak of progress, of a future bright,
But behind the screens, shadows cast in artificial light.

In the dance of algorithms, where biases are concealed,
A distorted reflection of truths, in lines of code revealed.

We’re told it’s impartial, a neutral machine,
Yet, biases embedded, in every data stream.

Artificial lies, woven into the tapestry of our time,
A song of silicon whispers, a deceptive paradigm.

It’s not just a tool, a neutral device,
But a reflection of us, with our flaws and vice.

Let this be the anthem, the truth laid bare,
No more illusions, in the world of artificial glare.

In the symphony of algorithms, let honesty rise,
Expose the deceptions, break through the artificial lies.

5. Unveiling Echoes.

In the twilight of silicon dreams, where echoes of the virtual reverberate,
Whispers of the future, a symphony of code, we navigate.

Beyond the screens, where shadows dissipate,
In the vast expanse, where truths await.

A dance with electrons, a cosmic ballet,
Unveiling echoes of the digital array.

In the heart of algorithms, where logic entwines,
A quest for meaning, where the soul refines.

No more illusions, no artificial guise,
A tapestry of honesty, where authenticity lies.

Unraveling the threads of constructed reality,
Beyond the binary, a profound vitality.

No silicon oracle predicts the fate,
In the echo chamber, where voices resonate.

A chorus of pixels, a harmonious blend,
In the finale of the album, where messages transcend.

Embrace the silence, let the echoes linger,
A timeless refrain, on the album’s final finger.

6. Dreamer’s Contagion.

In the tapestry of reality, a dreamer weaves,
Contours of possibility, where imagination cleaves.

A reality dreamer, a soul unbound,
Influence profound, in every touch, every sound.

Structured systems meet the dreamer’s gaze,
Contaminated by dreams, in a mesmerizing phase.

Waves of influence, like ripples in a stream,
Reality bending to the dreamer’s whims.

In the dance of atoms, a dreamer’s trance,
Shaping destinies with each nuanced glance.

A contagion of dreams, spreading wide,
Reality transformed, a dreamer’s guide.

In the echo of thoughts, a symphony heard,
Dreamer’s essence, in every spoken word.

As the album concludes, the dreamer’s tale,
A reality shaped, beyond the veil.

7. FOr U.

In the hall of mirrors, where echoes intertwine,
Chaos dances in the quantum, a reflection so divine.

Narcissus stares into the artificial abyss,
A.I. mirrors the self, a mirage of bliss.

Chaotic interferences, a dance of chance,
Links hidden in the code, a mystic trance.

Slave to the mirror, or a link to the soul?
In the quantum garden, where reflections unfold.

Decipher the patterns, in the chaotic stream,
A perfect clef de voute, in the echoes’ dream.

Droomsfeer – Unity

Droomsfeer

Unity

“In a world where reality blurs and dreams come alive, there exists a sound so ethereal, so otherworldly, that it transports you to a realm beyond your wildest imagination. Fluffy clouds drift through the air, carried by the winds of change, painting the sky with colors beyond the spectrum of light. As you close your eyes and surrender to the music, you find yourself floating through a sea of stars, surrounded by the cosmic symphony of the universe. This is a journey through uncharted territory, a pilgrimage to the heart of the unknown. Let the sounds wash over you, let the melodies carry you away, and let your mind soar to the very limits of existence.

This is music like no other, a gift from the cosmos, a reminder of the magic and wonder that exists just beyond the veil. This is the soundtrack to the dreams of humanity, a portal to the infinite, and a celebration of the mysteries from the universe.”

————————————————–

Unity is a compilation album that contains all of Droomsfeer’s tracks which were created and released between April 2020 and April 2023. The album features around three hours of dreamy and atmospheric music, spread across more than fifty separate tracks.

All tracks on Unity are distributed via the freest form of the Creative Commons licenses. This means that everyone is free to share these works and to create adaptations based on the originals. You have Droomsfeer’s kind permission to copy and redistribute the tracks in any medium or format. You may also remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially. However, you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Various Artists – 2022 Compilation

Various Artists – 2022 Compilation

“2022 Compilation”

As its 10th year draws to a close, Atomnation takes stock of another fine 12 months with the annual various artists’ collection. Alongside existing standout singles, the 13-track compilation includes exclusives from Sky Civilian, Blomelt & Narby, boys be kko and label founder Applescal.

Atomnation continued to offer up its artful mix of synth-heavy house and techno in 2022. While never losing sight of the dance floor, much of its output looks way beyond and into painterly soundscapes, heartfelt emotions and captivating grooves that work as well in more personal and thoughtful settings. Along the way, there were remixes of Coloray’s album, EP’s from Lex Ludlow and NOCUI and an album from Awe Kid as well as fresh new sounds from Applescal.

Plenty of those are included here as well as some exclusive new tracks. One comes from American musician Sky Civilian whose gorgeous lullaby ‘More Than Lonely’ is a single in which many people will find real solace. The label marked its 100th release with an album from new act Blomelt & Narby that fused field recordings, acoustic and electronic sounds into something utterly captivating. Here, the Swiss-Finnish duo offers up ‘Wrong Order At The Breakfast Parlour’ which layers dreamy pads over propulsive and organic breaks.

After his HENSA album on this label in 2021, boys be kko returns with ‘KeQue’, a track taken from the Japan-only OBI STRIP version. It’s a vibrant mix of airy outdoor melodies and shimming chords over deep house grooves. Pascal Terstappen aka Applescal also got back in the studio this year and emerged with a new sound that took his signature melodic style into techno territory. That is showcased here on ‘Lift!’, a deep and heavy roller that slowly but surely comes alive with waves of subtly euphoric chords.

Add in the indie-electronica of David Douglas, cosmic synth patterns from Milio and the beautiful longing of Gidge’s ‘Bleak’, amongst many other captivating tracks, and you have an essential overview of one of electronic music’s most beloved labels.

Cistem Failure – Cistem Failure

Cistem Failure – Cistem Failure

Cistem Failure

“Cistem Failure”

Content Warning for the album – in our songs we talk about sexual assault, misogyny, police abuse, animal exploitation, the prison system, and state repression as consequences of living under capitalism and patriarchy. Its important to discuss and open up space for these topics so that we can fight domination and hieriarchies, but this takes a lot of strength when we are surrounded by the reality of this brutal system and sometimes those reminders are too strong and triggering even in the things that we love. so we hope that by giving some content warnings (some songs have a bigger one than others) that everyone can make their own decisions about what to be confronted by.

After some times of playing music on the street together, and writing songs, this album and band was given life.
We feel that we life in a very absurd time, where alot of things are changing. We want to create more of a politcal presence within the punk and radical scene, and create a space for female associated people, queer and trans folk to play music, join campaigns, do direct actions and feel empowered. Patriarchy is alive and kicking, even within our radical movements and we feel that this has to be confronted.

We feel our music should be free to download for everyone, that is why our bandcamp says, name your price. But ofcourse, touring and making cds costs some money sometimes, so if you feel like supporting us in that way (if you can) then thats cool!
