DiZE7 (Jukka-Pekka Kervinen) is a Finnish composer/producer, writer and visual artist. he uses a lot of algorithmic stuff and selfwritten software. really great sounds and wonderful grooves………..we love it =)
Nothing to Fear brought a marked departure from the space-themed ambient compositions of previous Mood481 albums, moving into the realm of abstract, dark ambient exploration that has become the cornerstone of Mood481’s sound. Like many previous works, the majority of the tracks on Nothing to Fear find their genesis in algorithmic and physics-based generative composition techniques.
After releasing the debut 12inch “My life in the box of ghosts” on Shipwrec Records and recording a track for the soundtrack of the movie “Exploitation” by director Edwin Brienen, Former Descent is back with his first digital EP. “The State Of In-Between” contains 5 personal ambient tracks all recorded with a Yamaha Tenori-On between the 24th and the 28th of January 2013.
all of this forms the basis for drmlgcc’s sound stories – his slowly evolving, acoustic tales.
it took him quite some time to complete this release, let us spend all the time necessary to be taken away, to experience the three tracks thoroughly.

“Take a Sound. Do Something to It. Do Something Else to It.” and “Coda: Watching the Watchers” are two live improvisations for amplified double bass and real-time electronic processing recorded at An die Musik in Baltimore on 14 June 2012 and at Dance Exchange in Takoma Park, Maryland on 21 January 2012. “A Multiplication of Voices (for Steve Hilmy)” is an improvisation for solo double bass processed post-performance with the Granulab synthesizer program in April 2013.

Yuko Pepe is an experimental/noise/improvisational musician based in Brooklyn, NY, born in Tokyo. She started playing the guitar in 2001 at university in Tokyo, where she also received her nick name, Pepe. Currently, Yuko plays with 12000 Trees, Cherubim, Helioscope and has performed solo in NYC, Berlin and Tokyo.
Brett Sroka is a trombonist, computer musician and composer for film, dance, installations and his own ensembles. He has performed at BAMcafe, the Sonic Circuits Festival, the Guggenheim Museum and the Teatro Fondamenta Nueve in Venice, Italy. His minimal, electro-acoustic jazz trio Ergo released it’s third recording, “If Not Inertia”, on Cuneiform Records in 2012.
