about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

update, February 1st, 2026

Dear friends and followers of clongclongmoo. It's great to have you here. As you may have noticed, the site has changed a bit. Some people wanted to be able to access the music with fewer clicks. That should work again now. Here's a quick note to everyone who uses relatively new platforms such as Mirlo, Faircamp, or Coop: feel free to use the submit form to draw attention to your new music. I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who runs a netlabel with free Creative Commons music. Thank you! Konrad from clongclongmoo

Mas&Delayer – Books and Dubs

[mhrk457]

Mas&Delayer

“Books and Dubs”

released August 23, 2025

Mas&Delayer is Massimo Solari, born 1984 in Genova. In 1996 he got into what totally changed his life – hip hop music. In 1997 he met Crx of Casino Royale who opened him to London Sound and electronic music. This perfected his approach to music. After years of careful listening, he is composing and producing his own music for passion and… “because I need that…”. Notable releases of his have come out on Deep Lake Records, Type Connection, Ephedrina and Jonic Noise Records.

On Mahorka Mas&Delayer debuted with the beautiful chillout electronic EP “She Cleans My Soul” in 2014. The collaboration with the label continued and he produced two spectacular remixes for a Captive Portal reworks album and contributed solo tracks to the “Music for Elevators” compilation series. 2018 saw the release of his second EP on Mahorka – “Broad Shoulders” and 2022 – the debut on the label of their duo project with Basssound, Bass&Delayer with “The Way Out”. In 2023 Mas&Delayer remixed Virtually J for a reworks release and most recently he collaborated with BedouinDrone and Abu Ama, reworking their ideas for a track on the “Making Things Happen” special Mahorka collaborations compilation released for the occasion of 10th Netlabel Day.

His new EP on Mahorka, “Books and Dubs”, steers quite away from the chill and romantic vibes of his previous solo works on the label and brings in a set of powerful tracks that nod back to all his musical roots and yet have quite the futuristic sound. This release also contains as integral part the aforementioned collaboration track with Abu Ama and BedouinDrone, and the whole EP has been mastered by his collaborator (in Bass&Delayer) Angelino Basssound.

“I created this EP inspired by my favorite writers and books read in the last year, every one has contributed in its own way to creating the atmospheres of the sound.
The trips to the East did the rest …”
–Mas&Delayer

All tracks composed and produced by Mas&Delayer
except Track 6 – w/ Abu Ama, Bedouindrone

Mixed and mastered by Angelino Bassound

REfugEEs From Beyond – Etrange Constellation

[LCNLP220]

REfugEEs From Beyond

“Etrange Constellation”

The Necrophile Hummingbird netlabel presents Etrange Constellation by reFUGeeS From Beyond.
“Electronicosmic Music for Space Shamans”

Improvisation recorded the 25th July 2025 at Le Champ Du Possible (The Possibility’s Field) in Dole. Track 6 is a solo test done before the session, edited with the today stormy weather. Etrange Constellation means Strange Constellation. There is the english translation of the track titles below :
1. Emergence Of The Time Of Myth
2. Outside Inside
3. Levitation
4. Extra Sensory Experience
5. Somewhere Else Immersion
6. Emergence Under The Rain

Members :
Master of Ceremony : Psyché Pelik
Disc Jockey : Yoshiwaku Mushotoku

I wanted for this one to use french titles, because it’s our native language, of course nations are plagues, we are from earth or beyond, depend on from where you are, and despite we are so happy that people from around the earth and beyond listen to our music, it’s very sad to use the empire language instead of our own one (aŭ via lingvo) to communicate.

A few hours later, our bodies lay in the woods beneath the hermitage cave from the angels valley, surrounded by a shamanic musical circle. Yet our spirits had already departed.
Time is not linear; wavelets surround every event for those who know how to perceive them.

Immersed in the dream, I picked stars, not ordinary stars, lightholes, coming from those constellations that were in the sky and reflected beneath the earth.
We were the links between those who danced.
In each one I placed a seed of that light.
Let’s see what will grow.

I think you can feel it in the music.

Dedicated to those who are not afraid to dream.

dagshenma – nut(s)

[mi341]

dagshenma

“nut(s)”

Experimental artist Dagshenma returns to MiMi Records with his new album titled nut(s) — an intense dive into the emotional and sensory cacophony of contemporary life.

Blending elements of noise, ambient, and musique concrète, nut(s) gives voice to inner disorder — a sonic confusion that unsettles and liberates in equal measure. The work challenges the listener to find beauty in noise, and structure within rupture.

Dagshenma, known for exploring the outer edges of conventional music, once again delivers a stimulus to strangeness, much like in his previous album Kyoto Japan Walk.

nut(s) is less an album and more an experience – a lucid cacophony that turns chaos into art.

Invisible Illusion – Insanity Be My Guide

[LCNLP218]

Invisible Illusion

“Insanity Be My Guide”

Perhaps the most fucked up album done by Invisible Illusion.
This was the third one, recorded in 2022 at the Cave Haven in Foucherans, right after Electronic Control and it stayed a while hidden, perhaps too much avantgardist noise to my own ears. Do I say radical ? I was meaning : horsnorme.

If you want to decypher the artwork the little girl is not an echo of my daughter looking at what I’m doing. It’s her : insanity. My guide.

Dedicated to all the self therapists, healing themselves, because doing so they heal the world.

Andreas Davids – Weltraum

[mhrk437]

Andreas Davids

“Weltraum”

released April 6, 2025

Andreas Davids is maybe best known for his electro-industrial project XOTOX with albums released since 1998 gaining quite some attention in his native Germany and around the world. In 2023, for the project’s 25th year anniversary the “Ich Bin Da / Ich Funktioniere” album was released.

On Mahorka Andreas appeared first as one half of the Natura Est dark ambient duo with British electronic producer Tony Young (Autoclav1.1). After their self-titled monolithic debut on Ant-zen in 2018, Mahorka released their “Second” album, a new chapter of colossal, brooding ambient, where light is slowly crushed by shade, within a multi-faceted arena of sound.

In 2020 Andreas Davids released on Mahorka under his real name “7 Jahre vor der Gegenwart” – an emotional rollercoaster running from dark ambient and broken structures to technoid rhythms and sequences, and “Isolation” – his deepest and most personal solo album, also on in a beautiful cassette edition. In 2022 the label also published “Space Ambient Pop”, the genre-defining collaboration album of Andreas Davids + Sven Phalanx, also in cassette edition.

With “Weltraum”, his new solo EP on Mahorka, Andreas Davids deals with one of his favorite motifs: Space. Since his early childhood he has been fascinated by science-fiction and adventures in space, either in books, comics or movies. Somewhere between Ambient, IDM, Berlin School and Electronica, he created a place for the listeners to experience their own adventures.

Created and mastered by Andreas Davids in 2024 at Separate Room, MTH.

Cobramor – Flores do Vazio

[mi340]

Cobramor

“Flores do Vazio”

On a journey through the tide of impermanence, in this sonic Koan, we capture the notes of silence and, between each one, its echo. Flowers of Emptiness opens the door to a slow fire and here, as we burn, we become presence.

Flowers of Emptiness is an exercise in minimalism, desired with the intensity of a mantra. Inspired in equal parts by Hiroshi Yoshimura’s Japanese architectural minimalism and Terry Riley’s sonic mandalas, both seek to embody the cosmic void of Dōgen’s poetry, the guiding thread of this album.

Cobramor is an author, performer, sonic explorer, writer, translator, editor, and cultural mutineer.

Kamizdat – Access Frame: Autonomy

Kamizdat

“Access Frame: Autonomy”

The series of compilations titled Access Frame aim to present a wide spectrum of local alternative music (with emphasis on electronic and experimental music) that has found its safe haven on the internet. The never before encountered entwinement of technology, society, making music and ownership rights has been causing a serious conflict between free culture and the outdated and exploitative concepts of copyright. Adhering to the spirit of free access, online labels are the first in the struggle for equal access and a more fair copyright (facilitated by the introduction of the Creative Commons license).

In this spirit we are supporting the annual celebration of netlabel culture on the Netlabel Day every July 14th. netlabelday.org

Kovač FM is a producer, visual artist, and radio creator. Her production is mostly (but not always) the result of transforming and synthesizing poetry or various samples into new mutants and spells. This track is a morbid transformation of a verse from some lament or dirge into the next mutation. instagram.com/kovacfm

Notwithstanding the genre variety in her selection and production,
msn gf (Ustanova, Nimaš Izbire) stays committed to the bitersweet drama of forgotten pop ballads, spiced up by contemporary production. A regular at Ljubljana’s club circuit, she has also performed DJ and live sets at local festivals such as MENT, SONICA, Tresk, Grounded and Spider. You don’t know her, she goes to a different school. soundcloud.com/msn_gf

Oka (Eva Mulej) is a vocalist, producer, performer and sound artist. Her work moves between electro-acoustic, ambient and experimental music with a focus on poetics of the voice. She explores the tonal qualities of melodies, words and sounds, using a variety of acoustic instruments, field recordings and objects to create an intimate sound world. Together with Karmen Ponikvar, she also works in the duo Lip Rouge. instagram.com/oka

Periklea (Petra Hrovatin) is an artist who intertwines their work with activism through the media of video, film, sound, and poetry. Isien – Kanashibari World

Isien

“Kanashibari World”

Netlabel Day 2025:

Kanashibari World is a 9-track journey through memory and machine, crafted by electronic artist Isien. Drawing inspiration from the hazy, analog warmth of Boards of Canada and the neon-lit pulse of 1980s synth pioneers like Gary Numan and Depeche Mode, the album fuses nostalgic IDM textures, lo-fi rhythms, and melancholic synth melodies. Each track feels like a dream half-remembered – equal parts eerie and beautiful -immersing the listener in a retro-futuristic soundscape haunted by the ghosts of VHS tapes, analog static, and synthetic emotion.

Jazzaria – Lost Charm

Jazzaria

“Lost Charm”

Charm, lost – innocent. For want of clasp, the charm descended unexpectedly to locales unforeseen. It joins other once-charming brethren, evolving from expressions of personal joy to memories of the strangeness of circumstances. Retrieval is unlikely, but if you do discover charms, remember from whence they came.

Featuring piano, synth, and arpeggiator.

FAF2 – The Lipsian Cave

FAF2

“The Lipsian Cave”

In the endless dusk of planet FAF2, The Lipsian Cave hums with low frequencies, echoing ancient rhythms beneath crystalline strata. Formed by sonic erosion, its corridors pulse with dubtechno reverberations—tones not made, but discovered. Seismic basslines sculpt chambers of resonance, each beat shifting tectonic plates of memory and time. No life dwells here, yet the cave listens, records, transforms. A natural archive of vibrations, its atmosphere distorts space, drawing satellites into rhythmic orbit. “The Lipsian Cave” is less a place than a phenomenon—an ambient relic of sound, looping forever, untouched by beings, yet alive with pure frequency and geological groove.

Jazzaria – Uncertain Horizon

Jazzaria

“Uncertain Horizon”

“Interesting” times imply high future variance, but usually begin during relative stability. A calm before a storm, a moment of misleading respite – but a bit of peace, nonetheless. Clouds come and clouds go, and only some have lingering impact. What peace will last, and what will come after?

Featuring 8-bit sounds from the Famicom, also known as the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

“Mitakuye Oyasin”

A combination of field recordings, musique concrete and avant-garde, throughout this track (duration 18:38) you can hear the sounds of:
Cassette tape failures, several machine errors, animal calls, city recordings, human voice, short guitar loops, background jazz band, car bleeps, stuck LP record & other vinyl rumbles, exhaust fan cacophony, nature impressions, speaker in malfunction, static noise, and a real mystery horn!
