However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. The first in our final splurge of releases comes in the form of a label debut for LPGT Hip-Hop / R&B producer aviel brown, giving us a tight 5 track EP that seeps emotion in tomes.
>From the opening, tear-inspiring tones of ‘sony’ (be careful with this song, if you’re looking at anyone whilst it plays it’s likely sony’s melody will make you fall in love with them), gorrila_tears rolls like liquid from speakers, a soppy emotional mesh of sampled voices, Holy Konni-esque tones and tears. From the jazzy groove and ballad tones of ‘sleep_well’ to the almost orchestally infulenced throes of passion seen in the title track, gorrila_tears is immensely well crafted throughout.
Mixing jazz, hip-hop and R&B in equal measures, aviel sounds both recognizable and totally unique simultaneously. Fitting into TWG’s remit of emotional esotericism, making this a release we’re incredibly excited to be setting off our countdown to closing.

Tablas, field recordings, voices, bells: Ghost Radio converts his environment into music, backed by an immense Bass. The tracks were created partly in a tunnel in Spain or with friends in India. The Diwan EP shows Ghost Radio’s great love for the sound that we have called Dubtechno and dub house for the last ten years, interpreted in small-scale micro-worlds of sound and sound events.

sarah rasines – every single girl deserves a song
sarah rasines (burgos, castile and leon, spain) born in 1983, has a degree in fine arts (san carlos faculty of fine arts, valencia polytechnic university, spain). she combines artistic creation with research at the faculty of fine arts at the university of the basque country. she also belongs to a research group called ikersoinu, which is now working on a project called investigación sonora y espacio artístico: nuevas herramientas técnicas y conceptuales para la creación (sound research and artistic space: new technical and conceptual tools for creation). her interdisciplinary work revolves around time processes and experimental media.

experimental electronic music. the culmination of several years’ research in music in burgos, valencia and bilbao – every single girl deserves a song is her latest work in experimentation and sound production. cyclical melodies, hypermusical instrumental tracks, programmed synthesizers and sampled noises overlay the sonic medium.

lauren redhead is an internationally performed composer and a performer who specialises in experimental music as an organist and a vocalist. she is a founder member of the collective ‘automatronic’ who produce a concert series for organ and electronics in london each autumn and who commission and collaborate with composers to create new works for the combination. her compositional work increasingly focuses on graphic, conceptual, and open approaches to music and performance, and collaboration — with other composers and artists — forms an important part of this approach.

the music on entoptic landscape is “slow moving, partially entering into ‘view’ and then gone again. the attempt to focus has the effect of obscuring it. all of the performances of this music respond in some way to open notation. as such, no two performances of this music are alike, but all hold much in common. open notation has been employed not for reasons of accessibility but as a means of inviting the performers into the specific soundworld of the piece.”

sometimes, one is required to be a warrior for so long, that you have trouble putting down your sword.

The year Love almost died inside me,
it was a year fraught with trial and tribulation,
elations of successes waylaid by new responsibilities;
and these new responsibilities,
they almost took the joy away.The year Love almost died inside me,
it almost died in all it’s forms;
Love for my fellow brother,
my fellow sister,
relations both amorous and familial,
as all the joys that were supposed to be inside me were almost detained.

The pain inside me almost surmounted all my senses,
as I lost touch with the capacity to feel Love in it’s greatest fulfillment;
I touched the face of the divine in dreams,
but alas,
this was barely enough to keep my sense of Love sane.

I learnt,
however,
that the pain,
it had a purpose,
had served to purify me of past regrets,
had served to teach me to move forward,
ever onward,
to greater horizons,
and the very scope of those horizons,
they are redefined now,
and though I know that journey will be difficult,
I would rather undertake THAT journey,
to experience the pain of growth,
rather than regret,
and the capacity to love,
it grows inside myself,
especially the capacity to love myself,
and I know,
that in this year,
or any year from this point on,
I could not kill The Love inside myself,
in order to hide from pain;
I could not kill The Love inside myself,
not even if I tried…
