Denver-based producer A Hundred Drums demonstrates her wide array of instrumental talents and genre diversity on her self-titled album, available this Valentine’s Day on Gravitas Recordings. Sitting comfortably at seven tracks, this album is Gabrielle Watson’s most ambitious project to date.
Detouring from the deep dubstep sounds that first made a splash in the scene, Watson uses A Hundred Drums to create her own sound and break away from familiarity by showcasing her vast musical influences.
The Valentine’s Day release date and self-titled album is a symbol of what A Hundred Drums intends to accomplish: “A Hundred” was chosen for its spiritual and societal primacy, and “Drums” call our hearts to beat in sync. A Hundred Drums aspires to align all listeners’ heartbeats to her BPM, unifying us all in the music. We beat with one collective heart on the day celebrating love.
A tribute to her passion project, “Shakti Sound” sets listeners on a globetrotting journey into mysterious and minimalistic 808s. A Hundred Drums puts a spotlight on her signature hand drums in “Circles,” which blend in an abstract, downtempo experimental soundscape before James Xavier sings of a wicked flame. Dashing down the dark road, A Hundred Drums tells the haunted tale of the “Boogie Man,” slicing through inky blackness with an eerie bassline and haunting whispers.
“Psy.Area” incorporates cascading psytrance as liquid bass is gradually dripped onto the track. Featuring A Hundred Drums’s first official collaboration with fellow Denver artist, Templo, “Apex” rides the wave through a cave of deep dub and metallic beats. Vibe Emissions “Circles” back to offer an energizing remix of the aforementioned song, incorporating various deep dubstep rhythms and textures. Legendary producer Leon Switch remixes “Lord of Tings,” released originally by Heavy Traffic Recordings and featuring Jayne Gray, into a seductive stupor, closing out A Hundred Drums’s self-titled album in a state of bliss.

TVS is a musical project born in 2018 to create an interaction between traditional instruments and electronic music, through live performances and compositions of Ambient Music, Experimental & Dark Ambient Music.
Teresa its a Flutist, Composer and Performer.
After a classical music education, she start to work with contemporary music, interaction with electronic music, instrumental improvisation, creation of sound environments for literary readings and projects involving interaction between various disciplines of art.
Her music combine experimental, atmospheric and synthetic sounds in a Dark Ambient sonority with touches of Deep Techno.
“Gabber” is a word from the Dutch language spoken in the Netherlands. The word gabber translates to something like “buddy” or “friend”.
The defining characteristics of the gabber genre is fast tempos, with distorted drum machine sounds, typically using the legendary Roland TR-909 drum machine. There is also a specific synth sound used to play the melodies, often called a “hoover” sound, sometimes described as a distorted, grainy, sweeping sound which feels dark and brooding in low frequencies. Other times when the hoover is played on the higher notes of the synthesizer keyboard it often sounds like an aggressive shrieking sound.
ANTIGABBER has nothing to do with that. Gabber is fucking stupid. Fuck all those weed smoking hippies in the Netherlands. Nobody likes that “gabber” bullshit. It’s not the 1990’s anymore. The sound on this album is the truest antigabber you will never hear. I hope you get a epileptic seizure listening to the hyperspeed blasts on this shit. It only slows down just enough to go hyperspeed again.
ANTIGABBER is the first step in achieving my lifelong mission to conquer the world with the ultimate goal of enslaving the human race and force them to build nuclear psychoactive mind controlling chemical weapons with massive destructive power to obliterate the entire earth and end the pathetic lives of all human scum.

Snarg II delivers 8 un-skippable tracks of all hits no shits chiptune post-hardcore fusion. There is not an ounce of fat on this release and nothing is over looked. The synth lines are uplifting, the softer melodic sections gear up perfectly into heavy breakdowns and what could be considered the standard punk elements feel cool and comforting. Call and response as well as gang vocals provide a genuine sense of comradery and adventure. Snarg bring something very unique to the table that we are simply unable to find anywhere else in the Nintendocore timeline.

Minogame is a pianist and breakcore producer from Colorado who runs one of our all time favourite labels, Bijou Bay.
Bethas from Finland provides us with two tracks that are wildly unique, haunting, and emotional.
Breakbeat Heartbeat is a chiptune / breakcore producer from the UK boasting a gorgeous catalogue of releases worth digging through.
yoxteller from Japan ends this release by absolutely burning it to the ground. Lootcanal (who is hands down the most powerful DJ in the world) brought him over from Japan to play a show and it was one of the best sets we have ever witnessed.
French artist Shogonodo just released the new single “Drive Slow”, following his recently released track “Caribbean”, and is available across all digital platforms now on Orikami Records !

In 2019, Canadian digital hardcore musician SCHIZOID celebrated 20 years of extreme musick with the release of new project THE SCHIZOID “Pariah”, an all-black metal solo release. Those 7 songs took on themes of elemental destruction and dark psychology, inspired by CREBAIN, LEVIATHAN, XASTHUR, BLUT AUS NORD.
