In 2018, the television series Adventure Time aired its final episode ever. As my long-standing favourite show on TV, I couldn’t let this emotional and climactic moment go past without making something to honour it. And so, I present to you: RAPB3AR. A concept album set around twenty years after the events of the final season, it follow the grandson of Rap Bear (and son of Son of Rap Bear) RAPB3AR, a Soundcloud rapper with some emotional issues, as he struggles to control his lyrical superpowers, stay on the right side of the law and be true to himself. All beats by myself, using samples from the show’s soundtrack and title card music. I really hope you like, whether you’re a fan of the show or have never heard of it. Stay Mathematical, dudes.

‘Feathers Blown Away’ is the 8th single on the Genetic Trance netlabel. Kinda has an adult contemporary kind of feel to my ears so that’s what I wrote into the ogg tag. I like this one a lot.. though my volunteer production advisors (renoise forums/discord) have since graciously pointed out it has some muddy lows–and it does at least in my car’s speaker at higher volumes..I may go back and fix it for the album of singles or if I make another renoise playback vid. but there’s a chance I might not since it already sounds great on headphones. Regardless, one of my favorite among the recent bunch. I’m thankful for how it turned out.

The project has existed since 2014. Located in Moscow, Russia.
Concerning the name of the project: in Spanish, “que” means “what” or “what,” so the name can be considered as the question “what to fear?”. In Russian, the word pronounced “kefir” (or “kephir” – a fermented milk drink).
I’m interested in experimenting with sound. I like to combine different noises and strange samples, effects. I love to improvise.
I use a variety of tools, from traditional to homemade. MS-20 Mini, Kaossilator and Kaoss Pad, the Mopho Keyboard, LYRA, casio sk-8. In addition to them, I use different percussion, tambourines. I impose noise and sounds recorded on the telephone recorder. Sometimes I add my poetry and lyrics.
The result is a kind of collage, a mixture of sounds and noises.
