Miranda is originally from Georgia (Eastern Europe), but now resides in the USA. Her music is influenced by Mozart, Chopin, Georgian folk and many contemporary artists like Imogen Heap, Roykssopp, Coldplay, and Katie Melua.
She has always felt drawn to cosmology, planets, nature and the dream world.
She creates environments and personal and melancholic atmospheres, using instruments like the glockenspiel, guitar, piano and electronic sounds of nature, among others.
She currently lives between Helsinki and Barcelona.
Her first recording with La Gramola Netlabel is a collection of personally selected tracks in the EP “Kuu”.

As an experienced and highly passionate critical thinker, my humble words of wisdom to y’all are: Don’t trust gurus, artists, psychologists, professors and others who (manipulatively) guide you how to (supposedly) live and conduct your life. Execute your critical instincts and don’t believe the hype. Romanticism is alluring – but it rarely holds any sustainable promises. Beware of those claiming to represent The Truth or any so-called Truths. Don’t turn off your defenses and DO NOT fall in the trap of those calling you to be less judgmental and (allegedly) open to new experiences. People tend to have a hot spot for charisma and sugar-coated nonsense – let that be known.
‘Satsangs In The Dark’ is all about late night journeys to non-specific destinations, in the context of a perfectly equal intellectual/emotional relationship. ‘Satsangs In The Dark’ is all about crossbreeding information and mutual sharing of knowledge via dialogue. ‘Satsangs In The Dark’ is all about promoting intelligent nonconformism and iconoclasm. ‘Satsangs In The Dark’ is all about providing a valid and well-founded alternative to the herd, sheeple and bourgeois mentalities. ‘Satsangs In The Dark’ is all about a sound transformation of consciousness. The small film consists of three video clips composed of static animation and shadow theater. The exciting sequences of images is perfectly accompanied by the music. The electronic sounds are taken from the record «Autour de la Lune» (Elpa57). The drawings are of the American artist David Brunell Brutman while the theater has been designed and animated by Massimo Ruberti. Everything is inspired by the homonymous book of Jules Verne ‘»Around the Moon», where three astronauts try to reach the moon, shot from a huge cannon aboard a bullet-shaped starship.
