After his strong EP “Silhouettes”, Digital Diamonds presents KUNI’s debut album! 13 unique tracks, each constituting their own narrative. In a world driven by perpetual change and a yearning for freedom, KUNI represents a sonic reality that is not restricted by any rules. This is reflected in the album title ‘Coalesce’ meaning ‘come together to form one mass or whole’… which is what this versatile artist embodies. Immerse yourselves in the journey.
This track is about the narcissist mother of family murderer Chris Watts who in an interview blamed her pregnant dead daughter-in-law for her own killing as well as the killing of her two girls.
The second track is a rework by Willi. It was produced at Cadmium Studio.
This release ended in the disbandment of the band Das All that consisted of Willi and me. I offered Willi to mention Cadium Studio on the cover of this release after he mentioned to me he was looking for publicity. He thought the idea so ridiculous that he ended all collaboration with me.
Duality Micro (aka eVade) is a producer from lower Saxony who’s been active since the mid 90s, releasing on a plethora of labels. He’s the inventor of a cable to sync up Game Boys with Korg drum machines.
Previously, he appeared on two 20kbps compilations but this ablum is his first release on our label under this moniker. All of the eight songs of the EP are solid, but one that imo stands out is Guten Abend Leute (Nixtauger Mix 2), an addictive minimal tech-house track, where you’ll automatically start to shake along.
A big welcome to KUNI from Australia! KUNI explores both digital and natural sound, weaving through various musical genres. A hybrid creature with bass-driven grooves, tribal rhythms, evolving soundscapes, and hypnotic, pulsating beats. His debut EP “Silhouettes” is a musical gem with four dance floor tracks, each track with its own character and story. It also sheds some light on KUNI’s upcoming cross-over album “Coalesce” here on Digital Diamonds!
Following his Automatic Writing single, issued on the Autumn Equinox in late 2018, Brother Blue opens 2019 with Shoreline Drive, a 5-track EP of dub techno cuts and RP’s first release of the new year. It is also fitting that it should come out today, during the Super Blood Wolf Moon, a rare celestial event that echoes some of the themes on these tracks.
Musically, Shoreline Drive brings more excellent electronics on the deeper side of the spectrum to play with the rest of the Bedroom Compost catalog. Tim’s work is never less than superb and intimately engaging, and these five tracks are equal parts rugged techno rhythms, sultry dub chords and textured atmospheres that displace the listener. Shoreline Drive recalls not only Detroit classics like Echospace and Deepchord, but also many other deep moments in the Recycled Plastics library, from Ohrwert, Mon0, Axs, Zzzzra, Coppice Halifax and Textural Being, among others…In short, we are beyond happy to have Tim once again here with us, and Shoreline Drive feels both new and home-worn familiar, in all the best ways.
NOTE: The physical edition of Shoreline Drive also contains two additional tracks: “Automatic Writing (Version)” from BC72 and a 2018 remaster of “Summoning UFOs”, which previously only appeared on a compilation at the luxurious Silent Season label. With these two extras, Shoreline Drive becomes a 67-minute long dub trip, not to be missed!

Kalumet is back! The label veteran brings us his long awaited EP, delivering 3 original tracks and one remix. Each track is a refreshing wave of cutting edge music. The First Wave is tribalistic, the Second Wave is pumping, and the Third Wave is hypnotic. For the final track, the First Wave is waxed and polished for a deluxe retreatment by Immortal Sun. Each wave combines into a swelling sound trip into the deep!
Some time a go, when I was digging in my graveyard to get rid of some bodies, I stumbled over some clay tablets with strange geometrical patterns on it. After much research I found out that they belong to the Sredni Stog Culture of the DDII settlements at the Dnieper valley and constitute the oldest musical notations known to archeology. Interestingly, they are a couple of centuries older than any known text so far.
I spent the last months deciphering the instructions to recreate the music of these pre-archaic indo-europeans using modern means of sound creation and processing. Of course we do not know what instruments they originally used to play these notations and which frequency correlates exactly to which note in the sheet – future research may shed some light on this topic; all I can do at this moment is to give you my subjective interpretation of these clay tablets.
Master Lampé has come a long way, been traveling Between The Worlds, releasing on Soupherb and Phobos amongst other labels. His productions have hijacked many festival PAs last months, like Boom, Lost Theory or Wonderland and received massive support and feedback from DJs and dancers.
So we at Digital Diamonds are very pleased to present you 2nd EP by Lampé on our label: Three progressive techno crackers that proof his sophisticated sound design and cinematic production skills.
The cherry on the top is a crunching and stomping Joseph Disco remix of Crystal Cave, which is Joseph’s debut track on Digital Diamonds at the same time. All in all a dope EP – Listen and repeat!
Santi’s original “Music, the Only Way” tells a playfully dystopian story: “In a not so far away retro-future, a group of self-aware, compassionate robots have taken upon themselves the task of resolving humanity’s oldest paradox: its tendency for endless destruction and chaos despite its longing for boundless creativity and joy.
After a thorough examination of humanity’s greatest attempts and defeats, they have come to a consensus. All other previous paradigms and executions have failed. Music is the only way to save the humans”.
In this special compilation which marks the 50th release of Tropical Twista Records, five stunningly diverse producers come on board and recreate their unique renditions of Santi’s dark yet light-hearted space odyssey.
Acknowledgments: Santi extends his special thanks to Ivan Palmegiani for his tasteful curation of this compilation.

“When the weight drops to the floor, after the lifting,
the moment of relaxation is achieved.
But if you’re standing on ice,
the problems are just about to begin.”Erich Schall in December 2018, gone fishing after dictating.
New perspective of things can be found by raising ourselves. From a terrace, a peak or imaginary places we seek contemplation as it is our creative nutrient. Unsettling times must be confronted on the sidewalk of music production. As citizens of the world we are being witnesses of agitation related to climate change, to a rearrangement of political forces and to socioeconomic inequity among a variety of intertwined elements that cause reflection. It is a complex scenario that leads forces of similar pulsation and that seems to motivate the efforts behind the sharp response in this fifth compilation of Modismo. This compilation joins multinational talents in a wide range of styles, and as a proof of clean intentions it releases music of such depth and quality available for free. A gesture of caring kindness unites these 21 musical statements in which humanity and the plotted electro-mutant sounds dance as a reflection of upcoming storms. The overflowed pessimism, the industrial protest, the revolutionary dance and the questiong of forms have a natural room in one of the most ambitious works created by this label. For its constant commitment with risk and quality this new compilation of Modismo can be considerated as a compulsory stop at the moment of photograph the state of arts in the contemporary electronic music.
“Après avoir été refusé par le label 1 EP par jour Records, cet EP se retrouve sur Linge, le label qui accepte toutes les merdes du monde. C’est moitié impro au synthé moitié techno bizarre. C’est sympa”

Debut release on Digital Diamonds by F.I.E.L.D.Y from Bahnwärter Thiel/, Wannda, Munich. And it’s a very special one, a homage to three different installations and art cars at Afrikaburn 2017. All track titles pay tribute to the camps and crews, where F.I.E.L.D.Y had the pleasure to play: slow and deep driving minimal techno at the Tree Of Life, immersive tribalistic atmospheres at The Dragon, a hypnotic and trippy interpretation of the Play at The Haupbahnhof by Wanderzrikus feat. vocals by Mo Libretto. Last but not least the title track get’s pimped up by a melodic remix by 959er. Desert tech at it’s best!
