The idea of giving a soundtrack to a possible post-mortem world has always stimulated the imagination of many composers. Usually, this idea makes its way into the final part of our existence… There is no indication that tells us about the lenght of our life, so a Requiem could be the best debut. Starting from a body abandoned to the buzzing of the flies, imaging a journey of the soul through opened and bright spaces, in contrast to the dark and melancholic mortal condition.
The French producer Paul de Monteynard (known as Subjectjazz) debuts on Dusted Wax Kingdom with his “Saturne” EP.
The release contains 8 soothing jazzy boom bap instrumentals to unwind the stress of the day.

The electroacoustic opera “Le 7 perle di Belzebù” by Fabrizio Basciano (Lamezia Terme, Italy) is divided into 7 movements preceded by a short overture for piano solo . The work is inspired from the book “I racconti di Belezebù a suo nipote” of the armenian philosopher and mystic George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff. About the work of Gurdjieff, Basciano selects 7 by more than 40 chapters and attempts to transpose a musical key philosophical and conceptual content of the same. The work is recorded at the studio Lante Records and is edited by the Associazione Culturale Lante Arte. With this work Basciano fully realized, for the first time, his musical ideal, a very well-balanced fusion between electronic nature and derivation of orchestral timbres. There are also a whole season the timbre of an ethnic nature, such as the sitar, lute, turkish, the native american flute and other instruments belonging to various cultures and music systems far. A long research for harmonic sense, with musical atmosphere as hot as ethereal, much sought after because, in fact, unique. Along with the search for harmony looming experiments on several other fronts, from the tone (which was mentioned above) to the rhythmic, from the linguistic to the inherent sound synthesis, the latter side on which the author of leads a long and painstaking. This opera was performed at Teatro Politeama di Lamezia Terme on June 3, 2013 and by request of the artist composer, now officially, released in Nostress Netlabel.
Martín Castro began composing electronic music in 1992, venturing through different styles and forms as a forerunner in electronic music in the city of Córdoba, Argentina.
Currently, he is experimenting with the creation of his own software, working on patches for Native Instrument, his own “wavetables” and sound synthesis with complex structures in the style of Monolake or Richard Devine, who are his greatest influences. His sound is reminiscent of that of Parsons. Martin´s compositional ideas position him within the current of “Psychedelic Industrial Ambient”.
MRTN-CSTR is his alias for a disc constructed with only his own software: “Synthetic Instrument”.

Relentless is an experimental sound creation project based on saxophone. Coming from free improvisation, their current proposals are focused on different practices of sound art. Specificities of the performance space, exploration of their musical instruments and ways to relate with the public are the foundations of their work. For the past few years, they have been looking into the relations between dancing, video and improvised music. Relentless is, in a way, the sound layer that settled through these investigations. Long tones, circular breathing, multiphonics, objects, are some recurring elements always renewed in a dialog between an idiom that settles through practice, and the necessity to improvise to create a music that takes into account each sound and each instant in its composition.
