about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

“Fluffy Call”

Calls can be quite substantive – but they can also be fluffy. Though perhaps enabling some form of connection, little information is shared on a fluffy call – and possible miscommunications can occur. If it’s just a fluffy call, please feel free to be excused.

Featuring strings, synthesizer, percussion, electric bass, telephones, and effects.

neuheimeraltz

“Hikari ga”

After 3 years of silence, Sakanaka is back with a new solo project. Under the name neuheimeraltz Sakanaka brings us the sounds of field recording.

In his previous project we had techno, new wave and some noise, now we have soundscapes of Japan’s second largest city, mixed with industrial electronics.

Putting all the pieces together, we have yet another comprehensive view of what this duo does, revealing the potential in various sound styles.

Once again I tell you, this duo really is a surprise music box.

Sami Konzo – untitled 001
[phokes149]

Sami Konzo

“untitled 001”

Twenty rounds later,
spring arrives in full delight,
carrying the heaviness of winter with it.

The moose went across the river,
the wolves howl,
it’s time for the next sting.

Sami Konzo presents three wonderful new tracks, while each song is like a magnificent painting, in which there is always something new to discover and which embraces you so strongly, that not only a lasting impression is created, but also a cosmic cloak is woven around you, that hides you under an invisible heap of longing. At the same time are we living an expression of international friendship with this release, celebrating the unifying language of music, bringing humans together, no matter of other onion layers of reality. The season of the permanence is thus opened. Reopened again.

Tunist Dasa – Sanatorium

Tunist Dasa – Sanatorium

Tunist Dasa

“Sanatorium”

Sanatoriums, historically utilized for convalescence, intersect with contemporary interests in mental well-being. This study examines the impact of crystalline soundscapes on mental disorientation within sanatorium settings. Utilizing immersive audio environments, participants experienced varying levels of crystalline sounds. Results indicate a correlation between soundscapes and mental disorientation, with higher clarity leading to increased disorientation. These findings suggest potential therapeutic applications for sound modulation in sanatorium environments. Understanding the interaction between auditory stimuli and mental states informs holistic approaches to mental health treatment in rehabilitative settings. Further research is warranted to optimize sound interventions for enhanced patient outcomes.

“Current Flow”

“SeedZ is an electronic music group, founded in 2023 by Matyas Lendvai (Polyklinik) and Gabor Csirmaz (AudioCompress).
The main concept is the combination of dreamy ambient themes and electronic beats without rapid changes, feels like an infinite loop in a road movie.
Our first EP is a collection of experiences from our past one year, we are glad to be here as we are now.”

Přejeme pěkný poslech i pohled.

EN:

In 2023, Noční pták [Nightbird] flapped its wings again at summer sessions in Albeř. During this flap of the wing, public performance took place on August 5 (see link to the video recording by Kryštof Zika) and, two days later, a non-public recording session was organized, with the ambition to elaborate on the themes and ideas brought about on the preceding fully improvised concert. The result is the album PRACH / DUST.

We wish you a nice listening and viewing experience.

felsteg – Hold

felsteg – Hold
[djummi.031]

felsteg

“Hold”

Matt and Dave named their project Felsteg, which is Swedish for misstep. And this is certainly not due to a lack of conviction in their shared musical work. Rather, and on the contrary, the name describes their approach to music quite well for me. On “Hold” you can hear two experienced live musicians who consciously decide to “misstep” when playing. Misstep as an opportunity!

The music on the album was created live and spontaneously. Starting with rudimentary song ideas, they played sessions together in which improvisation became the means to flesh out the basic ideas. At the same time, these sessions were professionally recorded on multiple tracks in the studio, then supplemented with additional elements and mixed at the end.

On their debut album, Matt and Dave managed to create songs that, despite all their complexity and jazz affinity, are characterized by a pleasant lightness and catchiness, even naturalness.
