Shaula is a lady from Japan who makes beautiful and rich melodic electroacoustic ambience made from processed instrumental passages and guitar harmonics. Medusae is the Japanese translation for jellyfish who’s nature is to just drift the ocean, in turn giving a hint to the music contained within. Shaula is best known for her debut album ‘Haze’, released on Under The Spire as well as ep’s released on Audio Gourmet and Time Released Sound.
