Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. “Osaka”

Nitrile Affair – Osaka

In the neon haze of a drifting megacity, the transmission titled Osaka flickers through abandoned satellites. Its chords pulse like distant lights in endless rain.
A lone listener decodes the signal. Dubnotic wraps around him—time slows, echoes spiral, gravity softens. He drifts between concrete and memory.
Then Meta opens a fracture. The city folds into itself, melodies looping like parallel realities. In the Meta (Markus Masuhr Reinterpretation), the fracture deepens—warmer, more human, as if someone is trying to reach him from another timeline.
Finally, Dubnotic (Pepo Galan Remix) arrives—denser, darker. The echoes become coordinates.
He realizes: this isn’t music.
It’s a map.
And Osaka is not a place—it’s where the signal wants him to go.

Leonardo Pinto – Olha, também sabes acompanhar a Amália!

Another debut joins the MiMi Records catalog. “Olha, também sabes acompanhar a Amália!” is the new release by Leonardo Pinto, an alternative and experimental dive into memory and adversity.

Created in the aftermath of Storm Kristin passing through Pombal, the album blends alternative/experimental rock with intimate field recordings — wind, rain, and domestic echoes. Recorded at his grandmother’s house, it captures a rawness comparable to contemporary lo-fi approaches, where space itself becomes an instrument.

The album features Samuel Lisboa on drums and an emotive evocation of Amália Rodrigues, merging tradition and experimentation into a deeply personal document.

Saya Akasegawa – Bikkuri – Horror House

Saya Akesegawa presents Bikkuri – Horror House, a 27-minute plunge into fictional sonic possession. What began as an impromptu visit to a haunted ruin to perform abrasive noise for an otaku audience spiraled into something stranger — a power electronics “exorcism” driven by distortion and intensity.

Blending harsh noise, otanoise textures, and ritualistic energy, Bikkuri – Horror House delivers a dense, unsettling listening experience filled with imagined spiritual disturbances. Chaotic yet deliberate, it transforms performance into narrative and noise into atmosphere.

Enter this fictional world of strange soundscapes, embrace the disturbance, and experience Saya Akesegawa’s experimentation. Step into Bikkuri – Horror House — if you dare.

When one considers, what is one doing? Meditative effort is effort nonetheless, though how meditative it is is debatable. Inference informs that most forms of energy are neither fully at rest nor in motion.

Bohdan Stupak – fractions
“Fractions” is an attempt to apply Pythagorean passion in explaining the beauty of nature via mathematic. The project explores how number fractions can be turned into music.
In this album each fraction converted into duodecimal representation so each digit corresponds to the note in octave. Using complete musical canvas instead of just well-established pattern (i.e. pentatonic scale) allowed me to explore the sonorical nature of the mathematic and get weird gloomy sound.

“Forgotten Moments”

DF90 – Forgotten Moments

The signal arrived without warning—Forgotten Moments by DF90, drifting through deep space like a memory that refused to fade.
Each track unlocked a layer of the ship’s consciousness. Frequency Drop dimmed the lights as gravity pulsed in slow dub chords. In Infinite Loop, time fractured, repeating corridors and footsteps that echoed into nothing. Inner Space revealed thoughts not my own—soft, melodic, endless.
By Passing Dub, I realized the ship was alive, speaking through delay and reverb. Retrograde reversed my memories, unspooling them into static. Then came System Error—a rupture, silence swallowing rhythm.
Only Winter Echoes remained, cold and distant, whispering across the void.
I was no longer piloting.
I was being played.

enzui – Omiyage

With the release of Omiiyage, Junichi Takizawa (a.k.a. enzui) presents a new sonic chapter marked by dense atmospheres and elegant trip-hop beats.

This new work blends subtle electronic textures with hypnotic melodies that evoke fragmented memories. The album cover, featuring a raw and surreal illustration of a character amplifying sounds through a megaphone, visually translates the experimental energy of the compositions.

Between lo-fi noises and slow grooves, enzui creates an intimate and cinematic soundscape. The album can be understood as an omiyage—a “sonic souvenir”: each track functions as a small fragment of a musical journey.

Smell, like sound, permeates a space. But smell is physically inculcated onto and into the substances it reaches, where sound simply bounces off. Imagine experiencing music as a smell, allowing the sound to stay with you.

Jazzaria – Dueling Triads

Coming from opposing directions, seemingly in disagreement – the triads belie tribalism. Within their cozy group the harmony is clear, but when considered in broader context it becomes uncertain. Yet this conflict is illusory – though they duel, the outcome of their combination is in fact a larger and more beautiful harmony than before.

Featuring electric keyboard.

Reversed Bear Trap – Apocalyptic Drill

An attempt to adapt Juicy J’s mixtape Blue Dream and Lean – particularly his knack for transforming hedonistic excess and everyday encounters with violence into mind melting mantras – into an apocalyptic mode that pushes the cultural exchange of sampling to an extreme where noise and pop merge.

“Radio Singles EP”

Potenciómetro – Radio Singles EP

There was a time when the single had a clear and almost unquestioned purpose within the music industry: to service radio. Three minutes, a tight structure, an immediate hook—everything engineered for rotation and repetition. Radio airplay promised visibility, legitimacy, and mass circulation, yet this system was never neutral. Mainstream radio has long functioned as a gatekeeping apparatus, filtering out independent music in favor of commercial priorities and market-friendly aesthetics. Within this landscape, the underground inherited the single not as a genuine point of entry, but as a relic of a system that consistently shut its doors.

“Radio Singles”, the new EP by Potenciómetro (René Roco, Polwor & Mika Martini), engages this legacy with a sense of irony. At its center lies “Qué es lo que quieres, baby” (“What Is It That You Want, Baby”), presented in two versions: one produced and performed by the trio, and another generated through artificial intelligence, as if the track itself were questioning its own function. The lyrics lean deliberately into irony, oscillating between commentary and parody, while the production pushes toward an electronic sound tinged with seventies nostalgia—an echo of a radio dial that few are still listening to.

The EP closes with “Gliptodontes en fuga” (“Glyptodonts on the Run”), a track built for the dance floor, where hypnotic rhythms, erratic textures, and spectral voices converge without seeking approval or validation. If the first gesture undermines the single as a format, the second reclaims it through motion: a reminder that irony, too, has a body -and can still make you move.

Pavel Richter – Mother Nature

The initial impulse for this album was the wind howling through our apartment in Prague. It was very intense. I couldn’t resist developing it further. That led to other field recordings—some new, some from my archive. Throughout the album, I occasionally add musical instruments. The human element in the piece “Zlatý déšť” is itself a natural phenomenon.

“96/99”

Sphere within Sphere – 96/99

Formed by Hiroyasu Izumori (Isolate Line) and Yuusuke Shimosada (Sparkler), Sphere within Sphere are a Japanese duo who create immersive soundscapes, blending electronics with guitar textures, noise, and glitch.

The project centers on memory as a living presence rather than a fixed past. Referring to 1996 and 1999 as emotional coordinates, the work explores how vanished moments continue shaping the present.

Their music dissolves genre boundaries, balancing algorithmic structures with fragile human resonance. The result is a post-everything sound where abstraction and emotion coexist within shifting sonic spheres.

The artwork—a Polaroid held against a landscape—visually captures this layering of time, framing memory within observation.
