about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

Hello, I have made a few changes to the site. Unfortunately, I am not quite finished yet, but it should continue without interruption. I hope you find the changes useful. Stay tuned. Konrad

GoH-818: M B U F – LA NOUVELLE LUNE N’Y CHANGERA RIEN

An industrial drone symphony divided in two slowly evolving pieces filled with dark and disturbing atmosphere of grim landscapes. New album from Belgian artist that never fails to deliver highest quality post-industrial works. Highly recommended!

Marco Vanoppen – Tipota

Marco Vanoppen – Tipota

Marco Vanoppen

“Tipota”

The word “tipota” (τίποτα) is used in Greek meaning nothing.
The unintended purpose was to create and record “a song” about nothing, with nothing, resulting in only the sound of a distorted metronome and added voice.
It was “created” in a few seconds. Less is more.
Subsequently, I’d like to dedicate it to Diamanda Galás.

The Necrophile Hummingbird netlabel presents Master Musick Mixtape by Wild Worm Web.

“Industrial Hiphop for Underground Music Lovers”

Musick Master Mixtape or Master Musick Mixtape it’s up to you to choose your favorite joke.
Wild Worm Web was first a DJ / sampling project. Next it joined Vivid Tribe Of Psychic. Now it’s a live project with a close vibe but with real instruments and far more love for the Lo-Fi tunes.
The first record which was already half a compilation and the two first EP Born To Be Cannon Fodder & WURMS is still available in free download. This record is the second part of the anthology it includes a compilation of tracks available on various artists compilations. And the two next EP City Of God & PUKE over the world. The last tracks are a remix and its introduction done to illustrate Dr Thomas Stanley Afro Futurism Ode & Jamal Moore Sax. And the very last Akashic Records comes from a record design to help my french ebooks collection to be spread.

Special Guest Aleister Crowley with his Rhapsody : The City Of God.

Dedicated to all the alternative free medias which debunk the capitalist world propaganda.

Batfinks – So If You Want

Batfinks – So If You Want

Batfinks

“So If You Want”

Batfinks became part of the Caoutchou family since he contributed the track ‘Shamalaalaa’ for the second Rubber Beats compilation back in ’09. 5 years later we released ‘Bibobleyboo’ on our label and early 2016 he sent us new material for an album named ‘Mosisac’. Later that year we heard the sad news that Ste had passed away.

‘So If You Want’ is the lyrical counterpart of the dark, at times unsettling ‘Mosisac’, and this compilation is a collection of mostly unreleased Batfinks tracks. He had been testing , with ‘lathe cut vinyls’, three albums, Dolly, False Fades and Wasps At Home. His family decided to carry on having a few albums made for his friends, later uploading them to Bandcamp. ‘Suzy Said’ and ‘All the Same’ are on the albums because Ste’ had originally released them on cassettes.

‘So If You Want’ is unmistakably Batfinksesque, but we also discover another side of the multi-faceted artist. We’ve heard him sing before, but never on ten tracks in a row – and on such a serious note. Quirky. Multi-instrumental. Eclectic. Absurd. Touching. Out there. Godspeed, wherever you are.

Many thanks and an incredible amount of respect to Chris for contacting us about these unreleased tracks.

Jonny3snareS

“Attack, Decay”

Wires, knobs, keys, a modular synth rack. Jonny3snareS’ twisted, plugged, pressed his home studio equipment to birth eight braindance tracks in the style of the greats – as one residing in Cornwall should. A blizzard of acid bleeps and blips, pounding drum patterns, good vibrations and a touch of melancholy; a mixture wonderfully crafted for ravers and couch listeners alike. Attack, Decay is just that: it punches your eardrums and dance buttons with shrapnel synth shot and rhythms on one track, then turns things around with nostalgic melodies and more laid-back beats.

presque papegaai

“dusty dawn”

Two autocomplete junkies with two cyberdecks hooked up over midi and
adat, fueled by two glasses on continious refill rotation, and the
occasional psychedelic nightcap. A quiet room, with quiet clicks, plucks
and taps over muffled looped up weirdness leaking out of headphones.
Homebrewed beer, hardware and software, all very much alpha stage. Ten
hours of backlog, edited down to thirty minutes of almost music. Staged,
committed and mixed down to a beta version. Served to you over TCP/IP
for your real world enjoyment.

PRISM – Top Budget

PRISM – Top Budget

PRISM

“Top Budget”

In February 2021, we released Christophe Bailleau’s EP “Persistance”, a collection of collaborations, including one with his own duet PRISM on the saturated “Paaattchheeffff”. About 15 references later, it is this project that gets the spotlight today, and associated with Billy Hasni on electric guitars, percussions and guttural vocals, the Belgian musician trades his shapeshifing and stellar electronica for some more abrasive and noisy inspiration, either psychedelic and tribal (“Trip Ritual”), ambient and insidious (“Top Budget”) or pulsating and radical (“Eat Heat Hit”), at the crossroads of industrial music, harsh noise and experimental metal. If you love this kind of exploration as extreme as it is immersive and capable of putting sound aggression at the service of atmosphere, you will certainly find in this album what you might admire in Throbbing Gristle, Wolf Eyes and more recently Duma or the fascinating futuristic noise of the Pharmafabrik label (Ontervjabbit, Cadlag …) : an organic and mutant universe of impressive density (“Usine”), and a taste for magnetic crescendos merging toxic shrillness, hypnotic larsens, obsessive synthetic pulsations and threatening guitar riffs to build the kind of narrative progressions that draw the listeners in their anxiety-provoking logic and take them to unknown territories, without mercy for the darkest folds of their imagination, like “Dinosaure” and its crushing 11 minutes of noise epic.

released November 14, 2022

Recorded at Budget Lab (Huy) during the Covid-19 period.

Christophe Bailleau : programmations, synthesizers, percussions, flute, voice, noises.
Billy Hasni : electric guitars, screaming, percussions, synth on “Top Budget”.
