Zu Harald „Sack“ Ziegler steht an anderer Stelle mehr; sein erstes Tape kam so gegen ’85 übrigens. Zu dem Erdmann, dem Jan, und seinen Liedern muß man nichts mehr sagen, außer vieleleicht, daß zunächst dieses Stück auf die Platte sollte. Dr. Proll sind zwei im Afri-Cola-Rausch: Frank Mittendorf, der große Bruder von Jens, und der Knusti, der auch bei der Krone was zu sagen hat. 1/8 Japanese hießen früher Start Stop; Frank’s kleiner Bruder spielt Bass und Adelheid Schlagzeug. Das Stück von Phantom Payn stammt von einer Aufnahme-Session bei Silke Arp-Bricht, die wohl zunächst nicht weiter verwertet wird… Aber von Willi mit viel Liebe und Hall aufgenommen und gemischt. Sollten wir das Geheimnis von Milford T. lüften? Das Rauschen unterdrücken? Und wer besorgt ihr einen 4Spur-Recorder? Schnell? Das Stück von Gott ist ganz neu und während der Session aufgenommen, die dann ja zur Split-LP mit der Krone geführt hat. Vielleicht kommt da ja nochmal Gesang drauf? Das weiß nur der Herr… Loucious Lydia & The Silent biscuit Experience haben Computer, aber weder Pippi Langstrumpf-Zöpfe noch weiße Handschuhe. Weiße Handschuhe bitte an Sonic Bum. CultureCrash II: The Big-baenders ist die Bigband vom alten Wilhelm Dammeier und wurde am 16.11.1953 im Café Glocksee mitgeschnitten. Zu den Unmasked Muscle Marvels auch mehr an anderer Stelle, nur noch: In Wendthagen fing dieses Licht an zu leuchten. Kommen wir von Stefans erster Band zu dem neuen Projekt seines Bruders Olaf: Um Die Unheilige Allianz zu hören, machen wir uns ein paar warme Winde, drehen die Cassete um und lehnen uns zurück. Die nächsten 45 Minuten verlaufen nun doch etwas anders: Die Krone der Gastlichkeit z.B., jene sozialistische Arbeitercombo, zeigen mit ihrem Stück, daß auch in der DDR der 70er Jahre bewußtseinserweiternde Drogen ausprobiert wurden. „Womit hat er das gemacht?“, fragt der Haus- und Hofproduzent. Die Rede ist von Frank, dem Kopf hinter Echa Deha. Hier zeigt er etwas anderes (mehr?) als bei Dr. Proll. Eine Bassgitarre und moderne Elektronik setzt Bassoli ein – und hier vielleicht zum letzten Mal Overdubs. Wer weiß schon, was in diesem Kopf vorgeht? Hey Baby machten sich vielleicht Gedanken darüber, was im Kopf der inhaftierten Frau vorgeht, als sie die Szene im Knast vortonen durften. Echa Deha bringt dann das Ding noch einmal zu Fliegen, bis Start Stop mit diversen Gitarren, Bässen und Verstärkern kommen und große Schwierigkeiten haben, diese verdammte Drehbewegung in den Griff zu bekommen.

The LKOY archive series returns on Vulpiano Records for the first time since 2019 with ‘Uncurse,’ an album of acoustic tracks. Lo-fi production and sparse instrumentation set the stage for an enveloping, warm coziness replete with psychedelic washes of soft noise. The pretty vocals, sometimes layered and chanting as in the casting of a spell — or the undoing of one — weave with grace and vulnerability through these gauzy landscapes.

Libre Albedrío / Free Will is the first installment of a series that the artist has conceived from the resistance to the algorithm of the system and programmed obsolescence, in a hyperconnected world surrounded by noise and saturated with options in a rarefied highly complex environment, this album proposes that the ability to decision continues to be a ray of light, both personal and collective, where we are effectively able to continue choosing what to listen to and when to do it. Highly emotional and contemplative, Libre Albedrío / Free Will is a journey through the hive mind where all of us are connected, taking us from the cyberpunk sky of “Balloons Flying in White Noise” to imaginary landscapes fueled by science on our own planet. As part of the author’s creative axis, this album continues to tell us about the relationship between human beings and the important balance that must be restored with their environment, in this path “Forest of Souls” is based on the swarm behavior observed in the visit of the Monarch Butterfly in Mexico during its great migration. In contrast, “Stochastic Horizon” presents us with the manifestation of the complexity reached by the economic relations of current, highly technified and globalized markets, which, despite being artificial, are extraordinarily similar to the behavior of those swarms of insects. Libre Albedrío / Free Will is also a continuous sonification a work in process, it take us to celebrate life but also to commemorate death, “Little seed star” is the final piece of the album but the beginning of a new stage that for the author represents resurgence and rebirth, not only of the beautiful mountain flower on which it is based (Eryngium proteiflorum, documentary film on whose soundtrack this composition is found) but the possibility of deeply assimilating a cyber spatial form in which he is immersed for the permanent dialogue that he maintains with his audience. Libre Albedrío / Free Will integrates 1Z4K, a cyborg with the same name as its creator who, through the use of artificial intelligence systems and the appropriation of the biosensors of the human that compliments him, generates his own aesthetic experience, the first in a cyborg entity, and who as a result sings for all of us throughout the album in a mysterious way and totally integrated into the total soundscape of the complete work, quite a feat to discover each cyborg chant.
Technically speaking, Libre Albedrío / Free Will is an album composed through modular analog synthesis, avoiding the intervention of notes as a human-machine interface and working much more on the concept of frequencies, a foundation that the author takes to its limit by using sub frequencies, binaural sound, ambisonics and ultrasound for the generation of induced states of consciousness referring to the expressive forms of the complete work additionally enriched with visual artwork and immersive installation available in virtual reality. He uses a lot of analog elements with just a few digital nuances for advanced synthesis techniques like granular and impulse convolution processing.
The album has been recorded completely live and there is an available version in multichannel virtual reality that the author occasionally presents as part of his live sound interventions.
This release is a special one and has come a long, long way. Unfortunately Tomchilla has suddenly passed away by the end of 2022. This solid release is upgraded by remixes from Anyer Quantum, Adamson, Caballero, RNDM. and exclusive artwork by Kaptoons.

“…ci piaceva l’immagine dei cavi sulla Luna intesi come il groviglio di cavi audio ed elettrici che invadono ogni studio di musica, che strisciano sul suolo lunare e alla Luna si collegano; c’e’ quindi l’ elemento moderno che si interfaccia con l’elemento arcaico (la Luna) e con tutti i suoi miti, inclusi quelli della fantascienza moderna”;
e FANGU ovvero l’alterego, produttore di musica elettronica sperimentale, di Leonardo Vetrano (già chitarrista di: The Brilliants At Breakfast / Cinema noir / dasES):
“…l‘idea si è sviluppata a cavallo tra il 2020 e il 2021, quando in pieno lockdown, vietato qualunque tipo di aggregazione, ferme prove e concerti con la band, non si fermò la necessità di creare e soprattutto la voglia di farlo con gli amici, anche a distanza. Il titolo e ritornello del brano è tratto da una poesia tradizionale natalizia siciliana *”.

Fog settles over the dense forest. A certain silence spreads, which is traversed by deep echoes and so floats through the leaves of the trees. You look through the clearings down into the gorge and here it echoes back on the rock walls. Driving winds spread the sound throughout the area, weaving it into a dense cloud of pads and chords.

“A life in minor” – no matter, if you feel minor or major – is the latest collection of 27 brand new tracks by Smooth who worked on the last 14 months with lots of love and passion. Dubtechno in many forms and variations, but also influences by other musical genres inbetween.
Expect deep and atmospheric Dubtechno in many facets with intense build-ups and long fading outros to give you a relaxing and calming listening experience. All tracks have been handcrafted with lots of details and put together without interruptions between the tracks, so you can enjoy the music completely in a single flow.
The intention on this release was to give melancholy and the feeling of minor a musical face. There is the background noise of life besides emotions fading like delays and reverbs within the music.

This release, entitled Blue Green Earth, is a set of ambient love poems I have created for one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, a unique combination of desert and mountains unlike anywhere else, with an aura of peacefulness and solace unmatched. I simply adore the place.
Intended listening is from the front porch, watching the sun turn the sea of rabbitbrush to gold. I hope you find this album rewarding!
