Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. A.Moss

“NOBADMON”

Yo… get ready… heads are about to be put on to something ILL! Today we drop one more fortyFive by A.Moss before the release of his incredible new EP, Gravel King on July 19th. Side A is a brand new mix of NOBADMON, a MUST HEAR track originally released a few years ago on soundcloud… pure fire. I was a fan of A DOT before he dropped this, but IMO, this one set him apart as a truly versatile EMCEE. Side B is a brand new joint recorded especially for inclusion on one of his fortFives and here we go! For this one, the blocSonic crew pulled out all the stops and made something special happen. Featuring Donnie Ozone, CM aka Creative, Marcus J(sadly, his final recorded verse), C-Doc, cheese, Pot-C and BadluckPosse On Bloc is some of that ol’ BOOM BAP shit. As the name suggests it’s a classic posse cut in the spirit of Marley Marl’sThe Symphony. Five minutes and fifty-one seconds of back to back lyrical skill from a few of blocSonic’s talented squad of MCs. Enjoy.

Mega thanks goes out to A.Moss, C-Doc and the rest of the blocSonic crew! Rest in Power, Marcus J… so glad that you could be part of Posse On Bloc and deliver one of your dopest verses!

Podarces – Frozen Journeys

Podarces – Frozen Journeys
[Eg0_214]

Podarces

“Frozen Journeys”

Under the Podarces pseudonym Benoît Rouits (who also plays oboe in Jukpic ) creates experimental improvised music with keyboards. Last year he made us discover one of his old works : “A Frozen Journey”, made in 2009 with virtual synthesizers and inspired by some writings of Philip K. Dick. We enjoyed this album a lot and although it undoubtedly stands on its own we felt its minimalist abstraction could make it a very interesting material to incorporate in new works. We made this suggestion to Benoît and some other collaborators and aquaintances who agreed and accepted to contribute remixes of what is now called “Frozen Journeys”, featuring the original tracks as well as remixes by Humanfobia, Human Koala, Nina Kardec, Anastatsia Vronski, Kecap Tuyul, Nicolas Tourney, Sig Valax, Filmy Ghost, Yann Pillas, Thomas Park, Luciftias, Doedelzak.

C/VVV – Gracias por nada

C/VVV – Gracias por nada
[pn144]

C/VVV

“Gracias por nada”

“C/VVV spaceship is approaching, shaking not the dust off: its pieces sewn in emptiness, fiber travelling centuries, living, learning, and, at the same time, generating an antigen to the Whole, offering Naught an enlivened realm. Steadily moving, back and forth, all to zero, growing a cultivated, singular spirit in the face of constant fluctuations, acquiring communicative competences thru countless, unknown phases, changes, headways. The ship keeps flowing, moving alongside alienating turbulences and foggy cataracts in the eyes of the object. The past is always there, a warm, embracing, profound obscurity; essential company and accomplice, wise advisor, willing to unleash the heavy load. Turning the trip into a fading-balanced map, erasing frontiers, receiving the unexpected, organic, ever-expanding-paradox, latent beat.”

Threepeeoh & C-Doc – SIX ONNA 7

Threepeeoh & C-Doc – SIX ONNA 7
[BS450047]

Threepeeoh & C-Doc

“SIX ONNA 7”

Back in 2012, Tha Silent Partner came up with an ingenious way to utilize our then quite new digital fortyFive format. He decided to break the format out of the conventional one song per “side” concept. Instead he delivered six brief gems clocking in at under 12 minutes altogether… or just under 6 minutes per “side”. Thus, the SIX ONNA 7 series was born.

Since then, with Tha Silent Partner’s blessing, other artists have taken that concept and ran with it. None more than The Impossebulls’ C-Doc who has released 3 SIX ONNA 7s, second only to the originator himself. One of which featured TSP where Doc expands on the concept by making it a shared artist experience where each artist delivers one side of material.

Today, C-Doc continues that idea of the shared SIX ONNA 7. This time around he shares the spotlight with fellow Public Enemy producer Threepeeoh! In addition to his work for PE, Threepeeoh has recently produced music on DJ Lord’s (Public Enemy / Prophets of Rage) album “Afterburn”. A talented producer who brings a unique sound to the blocSonic catalog with his incredible tracks which kick off this release. Of course, the dope music only continues on the Doc side! blocSonic listeners are sure spoiled. Enjoy!

Yo C-Doc… thanks for putting Threepeeoh on! Two sides of dope music! Threepeeoh, thank you, sir! Incredible work. Welcome to the blocSonic fam!

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. z(xW+yV) – Trois Prises

z(xW+yV) – Trois Prises
[Eg0_213]

z(xW+yV)

“Trois Prises”

z(xW+yV) is a solo project of Kecap Tuyul started spring 2018 while experimenting different ways to generate low volume feedback with small gear. After some tries with one contact microphone and one 1W battery-powered amplifier he developped a modular system on this basis, in order to generate not only feedback, but also feedback of feedback, and feedback of feedback of feedback (…) by chaining amps and microphones in a circular way that blurs more and more the distinction between sound source and sound’s reproduction, between acoustic musical instruments and electronic sound diffusion.

Unlike its first album 3×2(1W+18V) whose 3 pieces where mixes of 2 improvisations, Trois Prises features only raw improvisations played on more complex versions of the set-up (with 3 or 4 amplifiers). Track 1 & 3 contain no edits, track 2 was edited from a longer improvisation.

Pete Lund

“Barely Nearly EP”

Corruttela – Corruttela

Corruttela – Corruttela
[enrmp440]

Corruttela

“Corruttela”

Corruttela is an Italian side-project rising from the artistic connection of Emiliano Pietrini (Globoscuro) + Edoardo Pistolesi Somigli (Edø Pistø Sømi) with the aim of exploring new sound potentialities through a 4-hands compositional approach in which the two artistic personalities are giving birth to a renovated concept, in which electronic and analogue ambient refined flows are walking arm in arm, and melt in a psychedelic and concrete “harmonious disharmony”. The 4 tracks in this first work are characterized by a heterogeneous homogeneity, mainly based on the alchemic fusion of electronic sounds intertwining with smart piano-esque bleeps, gusts of concrete noise, irrational wooden percussions, synthesizers and theremin that walk together with different kind of steps but in a stubbornly common direction. Paradoxically the panorama that opens up raves geometrically outlined visions, it is a sort of sonic poem without words which leads on a corridor with many doors and many entrances that revolve around the different cardinal points of a common caothic universe.

Ayato & Naoki Ishida

“Momenta”

Ayato & Naoki Ishida have been working together by file exchange since the early 2010s. On Momenta they explore a more melodic and accessible style than on their previous releases on eg0cide( “Red_control rec.played” which focused on field recordings and the split album “Tapes Outtakes” based on tapes manipulations). This time they ofter 14 instrumental tracks blending elements of post-rock, dub, and ambient, using many different instruments and field recordings. The compositions are smooth and catchy, but never simplistic – they deserve many listenings that will let you discover their depth and subtelties.

A.Moss – Gravel King

A.Moss – Gravel King
[BSMX0181]

A.Moss

“Gravel King”

It was almost ten years ago when A.Moss released Dead Language with Black Flag Records. Since then, he’s occasionally dropped gems via Soundcloud to show that he’s still alive & kicking. Well today, there can be no doubt that he’s alive and no question of whether or not he’s still got something to say. Today he delivers not only his first proper release since 2010, he also delivers one that is undoubtedly focused and on fire… an EP this time around.

With “Gravel King”, A. opts to keep things laser focused… six tracks… nothing more. He does the same thematically, every song feels like it belongs with the next. He paints a picture of who he is and where he comes from like so few successfully do.

When you kick back and listen, along the way you’ll be introduced to a couple friends of his… Wals (who you’ll get to know more in the coming months when he also releases music here at blocSonic) and JJ Bass (who also recorded for Black Flag Records). You’ll also get to hear turntable wizardy by our old friend cheese on the incredible “Wahta”. So… anyway… don’t sleep on this… download… load it up… bump it… enjoy… and most importantly… spread the word about the Gravel King.

A.Moss… I know this has been a long time coming for you to get something new out, I’m honored and hyped that blocSonic could be a part of it. Let’s continue to build!

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. The band are in top form, churning out black metal riff-driven industrial punk, consistent with all their previous material – But don’t let that consistency put you at ease… DK DANCE become more lethal and explosive with every song, let alone this brand new full length.
