he musical mater for the album „Symbiosis” was created for several years. This includes field recordings and studio experiments with sound processing. Passing it through various types of tapes and multi-layering different sound samples. The songs were recorded in real time on the A&H Gl 3800 analog mixer and 4 trace Tascam with the addition of a frequency filter and various types of reverberation and delays.

Drinking from a section Poems with Ink by Animateatro, I proposed a multiplication of it.
Joining the various stimuli, a diary is born that unites so many, the self in will, the word felt in a poetic way, the image seen in singularity, the music that as a spice packs this multiplicity of contributions.
For those who do not know Rafael Diogo this is an excellent record to start the demand about his work.
Repetitive and sometimes minimal, this is the incursion into this Anima Space. Rafael, or more specifically 9VoltDisaster, seeks to capture the moment, his space and time. Composer of and with nature, his field recordings make this record a whirlwind of sensations, intensities, endless searches for the ideal scenario.
Anima Space are stories, some shorter, others longer, with common places and others at opposite ends. Stories drawn in a space and time appropriate to the language of its composer. A record full of seeds in germination. Rafael takes us from the city’s dance to rural tranquility in 8 fascinating tracks.
To listen in tune with the nature that surrounds us. 9VoltDisaster ─ this is the name to keep.

I went out sound hunting on february 26th 2021. Had an idea about recording the ambient sound as well as a contact mic recording of a tree simultaneously… Went to a nearby place by a stream, where I knew there would be reasonably quiet.
It was kind of windy, so there’s some low rumble in the recording from the tall trees

C’est avec étonnement et fascination que nous sommes invités à partager les tribulations ombrageuses d’une sardine en ivresse parmi quelques unes de ses consoeurs sur la piste de danse d’un recoin reculé du Canal de l’Ourcq à Paris capturées lors d’une chaude journée de printemps 2015 par la membrane attendrie d’un microphone jeté là par dépit par son propriétaire qui recherchait rageusement la roue avant de son vélocipède ayant de toute évidence du se jeter dans les eaux tumultueuses du canal dans le but plus qu’évident de se rafraichir. An extraordinary and historic document of such things that sometimes happened far from the ears of a common nature.

3 – Acoustic Mirror “Threshold”
“Threshold” is the result of one of many work processes I engaged with while researching the condition of listening under confinement. In this case, I resorted to the sound-activated recording feature of a small handheld recorder. Sound-activated recording needs an indication of what sound level is to be recorded – this is the so-called threshold. I configured it and set it up in my studio, and went around my usual chores.
The resulting recordings ranged from basic room tone, footsteps, housekeeping and other domestic soundscapes, and the occasional street noise, all starting with a particular sound that went, so to speak, over the threshold.

“Inspiration found between four walls: a new and exciting package of electronic music on a split digital release of two young music producers”
dvidevat and Nulla are among the youngest Ljubljana-based electronic producers. Electronic music culture is what drives them: they both started as DJs, researching different types of electronic and non-electronic music and DJing in many clubs in Ljubljana, and both evolved their listening skills as electronic music producers through institutional and mostly non-institutional education. The split digital release 068/078-1 presents their first longer music work and unveils their musical influences, which inspire them again and again and give them the drive to re-enter the four walls of their studios and their favourite clubs.
The split digital release seems to be a one-piece album, but attentive listeners will find a clear line between the two prominent electronic artists. The joint release may paint their music similar, but it also shows their differences. Where dvidevat tends to develop the sound of the Detroit old-school electro and short but memorable melodies, Nulla progresses with darker UK experimental electro with a touch of breaks, IDM and bleep. Album “VII” is conceptual in nature. The single line that connects the tracks to each other is a journey in a lucid dream.
The album contains 7 tracks. Each composition is one cycle of lucid dream.
1 circle. Выход из тела (Вступление) “Out of the body (Introduction)” – immersion in the state of the astral plane and the exit of human consciousness from the body.
2 circle. В ожидании чуда “Waiting for a miracle” – everyone in dreams and reality dreams of seeing a miracle and believe in it. And everyone will not believe in it when they personally encounter it. The track uses Stalker’s monologue from Andrei Tarkovsky’s film “Stalker”.
3 circle. Поджигатель “The Pyro“ – a journey along the course of the sacred river Ganges. The connection of the consciousness with space.
4 circle. Свет далеких планет “Light of distant planets” – observation of the body from the height of the stars, travel to different planets that are inaccessible to humans in reality.
5 circle. Песок “Sand” – a record of the time until the body wakes up. Attempts of consciousness to escape from reality.
6 circle. Частица Бога “Particle of God” – a state of night alarm. Fear of the greatest invention of humanity, which is capable of destroying the planet.
7 circle. Пробуждение (Финал) “Awakening (Final)” – the return of consciousness to the human body.

Noční pták (Nightbird) was formed ten years ago as a project of Luboš Fidler and Zdeněk Konopásek. Luboš Fidler is one of the most important and uncompromising performers of the Czech alternative scene. As a bass/acoustic guitar player, he was founding member of alternative rock groups of 1970s and 80s, such as Stehlík or Švehlík, he played with MCH Band, Kilhets etc. In early 1980s he was involved in the minimalist-experimental trio Janota-Fidler-Richter (together with Oldřich Janota and Pavel Richter). Zdeněk Konopásek was drummer of the early and late 1980s band Dvouletá fáma. He also played, e.g., in the Dr. Konopný Quartet (together with Joe Karafiát, Jan Štolba and Radomil Uhlíř) and also collaborated with Oldřich Janota. Currently he is involved in theatrical-musical performances of Divadlo Vizita and, as a second drummer, in the band Fish, Flesh, Field & Henry $. Occasionally, he plays solo on his drum set. The two are joined, in recent years, by a “permanent guest” Štěpán Pečírka (Vyšší popular, Kolotoč theater, Richter band).
The album “I am healthy and things are going well” is based on live recordings from rehearsals and home concert that took place in summer 2019. These recordings were revisited and reworked into original compositions by Luboš Fidler in early 2021.
Fidler explains the title of the album as follows: The phrase “I am healthy and things are going well” (or: I am healthy and fine) was pre-printed in all languages of Austrian-Hungarian monarchy on postcards sent by soldiers from the trenches of the First World War. This album can be understood as a flare fired from the trenches in which we have been for more than a year in 2020-21.
Born out of reflection and a keen observation of life, Blüm is the latest collaboration between artist/producer, Bon-Psy & Singer/Songwriter, Shauni.
Having already released a series of introspective and thought-provoking tracks, Bon-Psy continues chipping away at his unique style to unearth new ways of presenting his sources of inspiration. Shauni returns here fresh off the back of ‘Disappear’, once again embellishing her R&B infused vocals in a stand out performance.
Inspired by the life of a flower, Bon-Psy navigates varying emotional states that capture the essence of the journey through existence. Joy, grief, despair, love & hope. Blüm depicts what it is to be alive in movie esque fashion, with singer Shauni providing a poignant narrative that unifies the lifecycle of a flower with our own lives as human beings.
Blüm is once again a stellar release for these two artists who work in synergy to translate the journey of life into music.

Another challenge for the Kahvi artists this release. We approached LP24 Audio (sound and sample creators extraordinnaire) at lp24audio.com to put together a special edition sound pack, which in turn we would create tracks from in their entirety.
This six track EP features tracks from 4T Thieves, Aaron Jasinski, Audio Cephlon, Curious Inversions, Aeon Cub (Vizion) remixing Lackluster and The Last Little Bit. Great work from all involved!
