Cult of the Skull is an ultra aggressive, venom fueled ride straight into the blackest heart of darkness. This release is the perfect mixture of industrial mayhem combined with an all out thrash metal assault on the senses. The album’s theme revolves around the shadow government’s highly classified black project designed to dehumanize soldiers and turn them into heartless killing machines without a soul.

This is the first of two EPs that we’re happy to publish from Dominik Vogel. Like so many great artists, Dominik makes little fuss about the creation of his tracks: “It was recorded in one night in one go with my modular system and is therefore not reproducible.”
As charming as this understatement may be, it raises more questions than it answers. How many years did it take to study its modules to record three such tracks in one night? How many live performances had Dominik to do, to develop such a wonderful feeling for the tension in the arrangement? How many efforts and failed attempts did it take before everything came together so wonderfully in one night? And how can the tracks come along so easily nonchalant without sounding arbitrary?
Before we revive Insectorama with the “Restart Compilation”, we decided to look back on over 15 years of published music. We listened through 81 releases, selected the best 31 tracks and put them together to a retrospektive compilation. It should present the timeless sound of dubtechno in all its facets.
This release is free as always, but you are welcome to pay what it is worth to you. All proceeds will be donated to the Ernesto`s Sanctuary for Cats in Syria aid project, which has set itself to save the animals there and give them a safe place in a country destroyed by senseless war.

What started as feeding a couple of dozen cats in the streets soon escalated when word spread amongst the feline population of Aleppo that there were regular deliveries of food on certain street corners. Alaas dream started there. His first plan was to have a cat refuge for stray cats where he could feed and care for the many strays.

Mateo Henao es un artista que ha venido ascendiendo meteóricamente en la escena local desde el año 2009, y su estilo personal tiene una buena perspectiva clásica del arte atravesado por el techno, el house y sus derivados provenientes de Detroit. Todo un deleite.
Archaic Revival llega con un nuevo disco llamado ‘Trayectoria Sin Final EP‘, donde nos sumerge en sonidos de matices más Dub Techno, con cierto carácter épico y sideral, siempre envuelta en una atmósfera Lo-Fi que la hace más suculenta para escuchar y volar. Un disco que definitivamente nos llena de historias diferentes en cada canción en la línea del gran talento de Archaic Revival.
Each December we release a compilation that reflects the current year and looks ahead to the next. It’s a mix of tracks where artists complement each other and where we feature some of their strongest work. It can be seen as a proud collection of tracks that defines the Atomnation sound.
2K19 features new work from Applescal, Milio, Mordisco and Sam Goku. Tunnelvisions, boys be kko, Coloray, Sky Civilian and Polynation complete the selection with songs that got released earlier this year on their respective albums / EP’s.

Lamont Kohner once again graces our catalog with NIGHTLY, another two-track single of oil-slicked techno chug and abandoned factory-floor bass. Backed with CHROMATOSE, these two cuts once again assert that Kohner has the hands of an old master, dominating a dancefloor while remaining just elusive enough to continually reveal hidden peaks and valleys inside the wash of low end and nightlife neon. NIGHTLY recalls a bit of Rhythm & Sound / Main Street classic dub thump before getting impatient and riding some cymbal over a slo-mo house kick and clap. CHROMATOSE spaces out the space even more, with a distant woodblock that could just as easily be heard through a wet drain coming up from a standpipe, and chords doubling the claps that remind us a little of classic Kompakt schaffel and Speicher barnburners. Just a drop on the tongue, you wouldn’t dare take any more of this into your system!

TVS is a musical project born in 2018 to create an interaction between traditional instruments and electronic music, through live performances and compositions of Ambient Music, Experimental & Dark Ambient Music.
Teresa its a Flutist, Composer and Performer.
After a classical music education, she start to work with contemporary music, interaction with electronic music, instrumental improvisation, creation of sound environments for literary readings and projects involving interaction between various disciplines of art.
Her music combine experimental, atmospheric and synthetic sounds in a Dark Ambient sonority with touches of Deep Techno.
It’s with great pleasure that after one year of silence Ekar records is now presenting a truly eclectic music collection. A compilation that consolidates old collaborations and open the doors to the new ones. A mix of talented artists but above all, beautiful people who do what they do out of love and not out of duty, feeling the freedom to express themselves as they see fit.With this free download compilation Ekar records also renews the goal of spreading creativity and passion without limiting the enjoyment to specific audiences, especially based on monetary reasons. it’s been nine years since the two sternenspringer made quite a splash with their last release on tonAtom. with no less than ten tracks and a running time of over an hour, they now deliver “exoplanet”, a continuation of their space odyssey through everything that has a spacecraft engine or can be found on foreign planets.
the style of “exoplanet” is consistently continued between clear, danceable beats and pleasant crisp clicks, creating wonderful room for space travel: somewhere in between giving a proper push and gazing fascinated out of the window into the vastness of space. hence, musically, this is not just a whirling head cinema. each piece retains a clarity and presence that covers a very own facet of the spectrum and is completely focused on it.
