Continuing on from “genealogija A”, this is the second instalment of a retrospective collection. Including sounds from even before the start of entropija project, the album timeline spans almost 2 years, between August 2016 and June 2018. In contrast to previous album‘s colorful dynamics, this is a document of a more abstract side of entropija‘s performative spectrum. Clusters and bits of sound engage in complex interactions, trying to morph into a cohesive body, but the form seems to escape each time just before solidifying. Hints of order or harmony are quickly overwhelmed, and by the end, completely buried under layers of intersecting accidents. If there was a genre label suitable for this record, “liquid noise” would probably be it.

AARD had an intense existence for three years, performing several electronic improv sessions, all recorded at the University of Sheffield Studios, also known as The Sound House, they also had several live presentations at various opportunities and spaces in the city of Sheffield.
These tracks correspond to rehearsal sessions for a concert given at the Foodhall, located in the city centre and which performs a great social work as community kitchen and public dining room.The title refers to a nearby avenue where the duo traveled numerous times in search of a concert or a few beers.This is a surrealistic dark journey into the night flying over an imaginary version of that avenue…

Ingredients : pink flamingos, white rabbit, blue rosebud, in the mood for love, man on the moon, pink narcissus, trip/reset…
About the rapture of My Wagonnet Eretique Singer this is was not a joke !
But since that time he’s gone. For a better chonologic understanding it’s important to considere that this album is a kind of prequel, it has been done before Cosmic Hobos Cult.

Cosmic Hobos Cult is above all another page in the logbook of our improvised sound adventures. In a world under control, rigid, where everything obeys objectives, preaching the flexibility of vagrancy seems really saving. Not trying to please is obviously an act of resistance. From Kerouac to Kaufman, from Henry David Thoreau to Eden Ahbez, wandering leads to transcendence. Taming the silence. Free yourself from certainties. The spirituality of experience emerges through encounters, communion with wild nature, revelations of extreme states. The realization that you can just be alive. That it makes no sense to worry about appearing when the mind can break through like the celestial tramps.
These songs are too long for those who don’t want to like them, without values for those who want to miss them. Yet those who will not be put off by the filth and take this road far from the information superhighways … are already walking by our side.
Recorded at the Cave Haven Sunday 6th September 2020.
