about

Since 2010, many netlabels and artists publish their new free music releases on the clongclongmoo website. Free means that you don't have to pay anything or register to download music. However, you can usually pay something to support the artists. Please note the licenses under which the music is published. This is important to know what you are allowed to do with the music. Please visit the labels' homepages to get the free music. Most files are published under a creative commons licence. At netlabellist you will find an extensive list of websites that also offer (or have offered) free music. If you run a netlabel yourself or offer your music for free and want to draw attention to it, you are welcome to use the submission form. And remember that clongclongmoo is not there to do business, because “Business Is Not My Music.”

Dmytro Bobryk – Bucha

Dmytro Bobryk – Bucha
[Insectorama special]

Dmytro Bobryk

“Bucha”

This release is an affair of the heart and needs all of your support.

This EP is by Dmytro Bobryk from Bucha by Kyiv in the Ukraine. He and his family had to flee from the Russian invasion in his city and he had to take his family to safety. Every day we all see with horror what is happening in Ukraine. This war against an entire innocent people is so horrible and utterly pointless and we all hope it ends as soon as possible. I’m so sad when I see the war pictures and I’m incredibly proud of the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their freedom and independence.

With this EP I want to support Dmytro Bobryk and his family during this difficult time they are going through and all proceeds go 100% directly to him and his family. Of course, this is only possible with your support and that’s why I ask you to support my project by buying the EP to show that we don’t look the other way and that everyone can help, even with small means.

Thanks for your support.
My heart is with Dmytro, his family and all of Ukraine.

It’s time for the next part of my Dub Theory Series. The Dub Theory Chapter Five brings 8 new purely functional loop-based dubtechno tracks designed to take you on a journey through forests and mountains to the sea. Slow down your life and go in search of rest and relaxation into the depths of echoes and chords, surrounded by wobbling basses and constructs of danceability in this very difficult time.

The new EP comes from Ilya Kozhevnikov. 4 tracks and a remix by label owner Markus Masuhr. Post Apocalyptic

“The Art of Being”

Post Apocalyptic from Lithuania comes here with his new album “The Art Of Being” and gives us an unbelievable journey over 54 minutes that has it all. Deepest echoes and delays that never want to end and settle like thick clouds over space and time. 9 tracks that go deeper than you’ve known before, and you want to delve even deeper into his carpet of sound, which is so sensitive and floating that you can’t escape it to embark on this journey with him.

Fog settles over the dense forest. A certain silence spreads, which is traversed by deep echoes and so floats through the leaves of the trees. You look through the clearings down into the gorge and here it echoes back on the rock walls. Driving winds spread the sound throughout the area, weaving it into a dense cloud of pads and chords.

jjsauma

“The Comfort of the Darkness LP”

This album is Inspired by the Nooscope Manifest by Pasquinelli and Joler, and its view of AI as an instrument of knowledge extractivism while using an analogy with optical media. In Comfort of the Darkness, jjsauma presents a collection of tracks where he lets AI create its own interpretation of music by building dub versions of the tracks created for this project. In this case, a test of the Nooscope Manifest was applied as a filter for a multitrack recording. These tracks were conceived as glitch/techno/ambient and were given a dub treatment by an amorphous entity with human-like characteristics programmed by jjsauma using Max/MSP. Human behaviour, bias, inconsistency and failure are part of the new aesthetic created by using AI in arts and industry, showcasing uncertainty as a precondition of dialectics, as opposed to the certitude of traditional computational processes.

While AI raises a lot of questions, it produces its own vision of the world, and this album is a representation of AI’s… more

Brainquake + Sven Phalanx

“From The Oblivion Lounge”

Mahorka is more than a label, it is also a place where artists meet and collaborate. Sven Lemke (Sven Phalanx, Andreas Davids + Sven Phalanx, Schattenspiel, Schwarzwald) and Marc Ceulemans (Brainquake, Zonevreemd, Toxic Derwish, Psych Krist Kastrator) have both had already outstanding contributions to the catalog when Marc was invited to remix Sven’s “Klangtherapie” for the special remix album (mahorka.org/release/288) and they got to know and meet each other. Since they had many similarities in background and musical preference, they decided to compose and produce something together. This collaboration worked just perfectly and soon they suprised the label with the ten tracks of “From The Oblivion Lounge” album as presented here. From desolate ambient and rough rhythmic experimental to technoid industrial, they made this all sound very different but coherent. We can hear a lot of both of them here, but also something completely different, befitting the harshness of today’s society.

Hypnos – Vindictiveness

Hypnos – Vindictiveness
[mhrk298]

Hypnos

“Vindictiveness”

With his third album Hypnos drives us on a journey of sonic invasion, a journey into the personal ways of the artist in dealing with narcissistic and vindictive behavior in our society, where we are constantly exaggerating our life stories and achievements in an aura of overinflated importance, to the point that we become defensive when questioned or when someone challenges our conscious or subconscious idea of superiority.

“Vindictiveness” is Hypnos’ most structured, most complex release to date, revealing yet another side of the project, inspired by club techno aesthetics, with constructions derived from and building on early rave music rhythms and sequences and everything merged into swathes of ambient fields of long, calm and heavy drones.

– Ivo Petrov (for the trust, support and help releasing the album)
– Ivelin Iliev (for his fantastic work on the video promos)
– Kliment Dichev (for helping with the final polishing of the sound in his amazing studio)
– Martin Dimchev (for giving so many priceless tips on mixing and editing most of the tracks)

[DigitalDiamonds089]

Piece Of Acid

“Der Grosse Knall Remixes EP”

Piece of Acid has been an integral part since the early days of the Psychedelic Techno community – from his contributions as co-founder of our label in 2006 to being one half of the DJ and producer duo that we all know and love: Alic
His immense experience.. it is flawlessly reflected in the acid-infused beats of ‘Der Grosse Knall’, released last year inside the mythical Digital Family Vol. 9. Imperious basslines blended with deep mesmerizing grooves topped with a juicy slice of 303 wizardry convey an exquisite balance between cutting edge sound design from the XXI century and the unique aesthetics that defined the 1980s.
All of this is now taken to the next level inside Volker’s brand new Remix EP with 5 cunning re-interpretations by Crennwick, Cosmic Kingsnake, Adamson, Children of Mu and Anyer Quantum. Each of them expands the original elements of the eponymous track in uniquely refreshing ways, bringing an exceptionally explosive Psytechno to lead the dancefloor into an ecstatic experience!

Emmerichk – Echo Around 101

Emmerichk – Echo Around 101
[M045]

Emmerichk

“Echo Around 101”

Mexican producer Emmerichk pleases us with a second release for Modismo catalog after releasing ‘Sleepy HZ’ (2019) and adding a track that same year to the third volume of the compilation ‘Chile No está en Guerra.’
His new EP offers us four extensive compositions that in their first line immerses us in a delightful Dub Techno trip which pays tribute to the classic Drum Machine 808 of Roland.
Soon, collisions over analog tape increase tension that later on is released with resounding rhythms provided by the second track. Echo Around 101 keeps a calm environment to then ratchet things up during one of the most unnerving moments of this work.
With a musical trajectory of almost three decades, this talented musician and producer has sustained a highly notorious place in national and international record labels. Always avoiding common places, Emmerichk can be spotted among great talented musicians within the contemporary Latin-American electronic genre, as it is well revealed in Odyssey Stabs, the track that overwhelmingly completes his work.
This is an album with flawless sound that carries German musician Pole’s legacy and takes it to more intense and robust fields where abstraction is loaded by vital and contagious energy.

Autonomaton – The teknoiz commitment

Autonomaton – The teknoiz commitment
[mhrk294]

Autonomaton

“The teknoiz commitment”

“The teknoiz commitment” is Autonomaton’s second full length on Mahorka, coming out 7 years after his debut “Polarsternritual” from the start of 2015. In between we have continuously collaborated, having him featured on the “Music for elevators vol.5” and “Eastern Depths IV” VA compilations, remixing krāllār, Protuberance, Teeth of Divine, Sven Phalanx, collaborating with Abu Ama on his recently released “TOTEM” album, and releasing 2 EPs – “Picture in Picture” and “The Underwater Fires”. This new album also features collaborations with Abu Ama and (a very rare occasion) label manager Ivo Petrov (under once upon a time artistname skylined), sampling of Bryn Jones (a.k.a. Muslimgauze), a Vangelis tribute/rework and opening and closing tracks from the very personal alter-ego Tribes of fishes.

But what is teknoiz? “It is universal (in relation to the universe) electronic music. It is the teknological sound of the movement of all particles in their dance through the cosmos. The movement is chaotic and in all dimensions of space. It is not controlled and does not come down to point movements, it is just there, in the whole evolution. The sound comes from each atom and its subparticles after the big bang, the music is an echo of the creation of the universe. But why teknoiz? Because it before everything is tekno, think of the teknological process of creation and, of course, of the term techno. Noiz – because it’s not crystal clear, it’s not and cannot be explicitly defined in spectral and time domains, its roar comes on all frequencies from all angles of the known and unknown cosmos. Set your receivers and hear it all – a convolution of the crazy dance of the particles around and throughout us as living citizens of the universe, an obscure long delayed echo of the fanfares of creation and the symphony of drones of existence.”
